Young Jazz Classics - Grade 3
Irving Berlin's tuneful standard was put back on the map with the classic scene from Mel Brook's movie Young Frankenstein. This clever arrangement alternates between a 2-beat feel and straight ahead swing, and features solo space for tenor sax, trumpet, and even a short solo for bass. Fun!

1:18 I love these small repeated crescendos. It gives the solo section such a good feeling
that bass solo at the end was fire
Wow! That tune shook us all up. And I think it still does.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. And this arrangement is one of the best I’ve found!

really neat idea using the bass solo section and for the ending as well! Awesome arrangement!
I learned that on an Old 1950s Harmony Stella Tenor Guitar which actually makes a great little Jazz Box.

Attempt 4 of asking for Tiger of San Pedro arr. by Paul Lavender (Full Audio)
I wish it had all the instruments playing together at the end, especially considering the trumpet never got to play the main melody.
Damn I love the original but this one makes me want to learn Spanish 🎷🚂
