We usually do with the bigger ones. The short side of the wall is actually only like 12ft

Try putting a 1lb rock in your pier net to give you more control in all that current

Looked like an amazing day on the water i am curious what is your favourite gear ratio for all around freshwater bass fishing largemouth/ small mouth i got my first two baitcast combos not to long ago both 7:1:1 ratio i am just curious also what spinning combos do you use?
7:1:1 is good for most applications. I use a 7:1:1 or faster for jigs and Texas rigs and then I will use slower gear ratios for moving baits like cranks and chatterbaits. Hope that helps some
Another great video. I work on towboats, been through that lock hundreds of times over the years. Won't spot burn lol. Used to go to sammis alot, still go up to Georgetown sometimes. That's about a 4 hr drive for me. May see you there someday.
