How to Change Language On Netflix | English to Other or Back to English

That's not what happens when I select my account. It just goes to the tv show that was playing. There is no screen with writing coming up or an opportunity to change languages or subtitles.

Each video, you need to play the video first. After that go to that video settings. You will see the language of voice and subtitles.
Change language of the app doesn't effect to the video.
