This sounds good, but you can see how they got more developed/evolved with lyrics and vocals. I love listening to these old songs and seeing how they still have these sound elements in the recent songs.

I really wish they would rerelease that first album with all these cut songs. That was their only awesome work. I didn't like when they went "emo" on the second album and their newest material is absolute garbage. It's an insult now to call them a "rock" band. Tragically, 30 Seconds To Mars decided to take influence from Silverchair and Linkin Park, choosing to be sucked in by the mass believed myth that "getting rid of guitars = growth".
