I need that kind of AC in my car, holy smokes. How a car can be that well insulated and conditioned to have a 161 degree delta from the outside is beyond physics.
i like the idea of this because in winter you can add layers to make yourself stronger from both zombies and the cold and just need to occasionally go inside but for summer you can only rely on very few ways of getting colder and thirst along with lack of layers
well farmers (My grandpa told me as he lived on a farm) used to wear white tshirts under a button up flannel long sleeve and the sweat would cool you when the wind blows so layers can be useful when done correctly. also is why you see cowboys wearing long sleeved shirts in the desert lol
@@animeloveer97 The reason why you cover up in the desert is not to do with cooling. It's to do with sweating and exposed skin. If you take layers off, you will sweat more. More sweat evaporates. Taking more water to just exist. But if you cover up with layers -- you are protected from direct sunlight and your sweat won't evaporate. That means you sweat less. It costs energy to warm up and cool down. The more you sweat -- the more energy and water you lose. Adding layers is the solution in hot and cold. You also, ideally, want a mix of bright and dark colours. Bright colours reflect more light; which means you warm up more slowly. But the darker colours radiate heat much faster, allowing you to release excess heat that little bit more quickly.

Take a bandana and wet it and place around your neck and it acts like a personal air conditioner. When it warms up all you have to do is take it off, shake it out im the air and it cools back down. Or you could rewet it.
For me it's not the playthrough but the storytelling that you do on top of it, it gets very interesting and something I like to put on knowing project zombie even though I've never played one second, I felt like I played a lifetime listening to your videos

Without Freddy, Sarah definitely wouldn't have made it as far as she has.

I even got the cure mod and and Freddy and she developed a cure, all without ever even having been bitten. I like to imagine she managed to found her own little settlement and she's been winning back civilization for humanity, using sheer grit, determination, a fox, and all of it one cabbage at a time...

If RV interiors is on ... I assume so because there was an RV, it would be a great place to have a mobile base. Cool off in the AC, always powered, auto rain collection when it does rain. All the things you need for a base.
2:00 tbh wearing clothes would protect against sun burns. If this was real life, wearing some clothes and making sure you have ample sun screen will be useful. Also when places are burning hot during the day they’re normally freezing cold at night and that temperature change will easily catch you off guard. It is up to the person wether staying cool or getting sun burnt is the better option but I’d choose a tank top or tee that are breathable as well as breathable/perforated underwear and if not that then shorts or something. I’d want to protect vital areas from sunburn while still keeping cool. The reason I say add tshirt is because my dads nipples got sunburnt once and he said it was the most painful thing he’s been through and he literally got some of his adult teeth knocked out of his head, root and all, while jet skiing so he’s definitely got damn good pain tolerance.

Obviously I was being sarcastic about the piss rag tech, it's just an extreme version of this survival technique. But yeah, literally being damp could be the difference between life or death depending on temperature. You would sweat less until the liquid heats up from your body temp and then it'd be just the same if not worse. You'd have to keep doing this periodically.

I've gotten heat exhaustion which is the precursor to heatstroke and yeah it does just creep up on ya, buddy of mine had his girlfriend get heatstroke because they were out working on roofs during a hot summer day and she had to be hospitalized and was having seizures.

Backstory being something along the lines that there was one last order outside of town that you as a chef and pizza shop owner make your last do or die mission to get to that man or woman... think along the lines of that spongebob episode when they had to get that pizza to the dude that didn't get his drink. I loved this challenge, water is usually not a massive concern in zomboid so this was a great change of pace. On another note, do you have a discord or anything, would be fun to talk to other lime enthusiasts
I have been thinking on how more difficult it would be trying to survive with other players around, along with an increased zombie spawn. I assume that water would be a more scarce resource, potentially something players would fight each other over; though I guess it would depend on how many are playing. If you ever want/ have the time to, it would make for an interesting experience.
when theres more containers that can be listed you can still scroll through them with the mousewheel, there might not be a limit to how many you are in range of that get listed? im not sure.
I think it’s so lame there isn’t warm insulating clothes. Rimworld has a nice clothing system where each article has cold and heat resistance. A parka is great for the cold, a duster great for hot days and does in a pinch for chilly nights.
I'm surprised you didn't play by desert rules: days are for sleeping indoors, nights are when you explore outside in a (relatively) safe temperature
As an Aussie that works in the desert often, the nights can be FREEZING cold.

This would make it a bit easier for non americans to understand how hot it is or how much stuff there is in something. It is only a minor inconvenience ofcourse but I thought I could ask anyways. I loved this challenge, water is usually not a massive concern in zomboid so this was a great change of pace.

In real life, the smart play here would be to ration the water and food while you dig a well.

I have been thinking on how more difficult it would be trying to survive with other players around, along with an increased zombie spawn. I assume that water would be a more scarce resource, potentially something players would fight each other over; though I guess it would depend on how many are playing. If you ever want/ have the time to, it would make for an interesting experience.

I think it’s so lame there isn’t warm insulating clothes. Rimworld has a nice clothing system where each article has cold and heat resistance. A parka is great for the cold, a duster great for hot days and does in a pinch for chilly nights.
