Great take on compact saws. I also have a silky (Gomboy), and I can attest to the quality and speed at which they cut. For quick around the house work, a branch or 2, it sure beats lugging around a recip saw with battery!

Thank you ,I agree the Gomboy works wonders . I've become very impressed by the katanaboy as well when it comes to larger cutting projects.
Have no idea why ppl rely on them wire saws . For the price of a cheap saw you get so much more out of if .
Yes sir I agree alot think those saws are good because they are added to survival kits. Others like them for the weight .
