They should be researching about their guests even before the segment starts. It was obvious that last question somehow made Ian and Paolo uncomfortable. What an irony, in GSP they were already educating viewers on how gay people struggle to be accepted and respected in the community and an LGBTQIA+ member obviously was insensitive.
Then again they're back at tv?💩
Dun palang sa "movie ba 'to?" I knew Vice wasn't about to take this, GSP, and not even the guests seriously. Even then, he/she hasn't really been the best example/representative of the LGBTQ+ community, and this just proves that he/she'll probably never will, or at least that he/she still has a VERY long way to go.

And the fact that one of the host is actually part of LGBTQIA+ community
he also literally based it off stereotypes :/ dont get me wrong but vice did so bad with this doesnt even know if it's a series or a movie

It's so awkward. Yung level ng energy ng guest at ng mga host ay di talaga tugma, like, are the hosts even trying? This segment was a total disaster.
Haven't seen showtime for over a year na pero ganyan na sila dati pa kaya nagsawa ako. Imagine todo prepared guests nyo tapos kayo kahit quick 2 minute google search wala 🙄 should've at least tried to match PangPang's energy kaloka naman. Paolo was so obviously excited to be there tapos ganyan 🙂

Tama Vice's atittude here is so unprofessional. Coming from an LGBT advocate kuno. Ganyan niya sinalubong yung actors na nag po portray ng mga gay characters.

Ian's energy was wasted on this episode. He looked so excited and giddy. Sayang opportunity missed na naman Showtime. I'll watch the BL boys on SNL instead. Cute nila dun lalo na si Alec.
This was super uncomfortable to watch. I'm so proud of Ian an Pao, but terribly disappointed in Showtime and everyone associated with allowing this to happen to them.
I personally think that Vice is insecure
especially with Paolo, who is "rumored" to be part of the LGBT community. I mean look at Paolo standing there very handsome and cute. The way Vice act is the way I act when I feel threatened by a fellow member around me.
I know it's wrong to act that way, but my point here is, I kinda have the feeling that Vice is insecure.
Omg. This is the most awkward moment. *1 rule na kapag may guest ka, try to read about them or mag search ka kung d mo alam. Never make them feel uncomfortable. I felt ashamed for Vice Ganda. Calling herself advocate of lgbt pero siya mismo kunsitidor ng bullying.
Tama di ba sila nag e effort to atleast educate themselves about their guests. I'll take it pa eh kung cold yung salubong nung dalawang hosts eh. Jhonh and Vhong. Pero si Vice jusko. ang cold ng salubong niya sa dalawa. Tapos self proclaim na LGBT advocate siya. Atleast kase siya na mah effort tp make this guests comfortable naman. Kaso no! Basura trato ni Vice sa dalawa.

Remember Bretman, naging guess sya sa cute na show na ito and I can feel na ang awkward ng situation for Bretman. Basta, ramdam nyo naman na theres something wrong about how Bretman feels during that time. Tas ngayon, ian and pao naman ang binigyan nyo ng basuramg segment.... hayst
PangPang and the folks from GSP represent the progressive members of the LGBTQIA+ Community in the industry, while Vice Ganda represents the regressive and outdated one. Vice Ganda really needs to step up. Hindi na dapat excuse na part siya ng "mainstream" para hindi maging aware sa SOGIE, lalo na at parte siya ng community.
Wow, the straight question made me uncomfortable, can't imagine how Paolo and Ian felt and they had to behave bc that's their job to behave well and promote their series.
Did everyone watch this ep? This is edited syempre magmu-mukhang awkward. Ganyan naman talaga mga tanungan sa segment pero may karugtong yun.. pero dahil ecq ito nangyari awkward talaga tignan dahil walang audience nangangapa pa sila kaya ganun tignan. Ok so I don't know the show and I can only read eng subs, but this looks absolutely uncomfortable for Pao and Ian from the very beginning. Then the questions are just 😩😩.

I have absolutely no idea what's happening or what's being said, but you can clearly see the shift in the atmosphere. It was uncomfortable to watch.
The show could've done better than how they accommodated their guests, but let us not blame anybody. I just hope that SHOWTIME and everybody could be now more aware how to use sensitivity and insensitivity in every area of this complex and diverse society.
It's valid to feel anger and it's there for a reason. But we should let these natural human emotion co-exist with positivity that deflects those ideas that can garner hatred and let a bigger audience in a big social media platforms be misled, turning things messy with non-sensibility.

when I found out na magg-guest sila sa showtime, i was a bit skeptical na magiging takbo ng segment and shemmmsss, bat naman ganon. The questions are so wayyyy below the belt Huhuhu😭
I’ve always thought na yung mga punishment is a bit too much, as in, to the extent na it gets unbearable. Mapapaisip ka na lang, what were they thinking? How could one see THAT as entertaining/entertainment?

I also felt the same. They don't deserve this kind of treatment as anyone do. As one of those who admires Ian. This is something unacceptable!
Bawas na kasi ang mga suweldo ng mga hosts kaya bawas na din ang energy at halatang napipilitan na lang mag trabaho.
Goes to show how homophobic the country still is within the closet. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Filipino but truth be told, I've experienced this kind of awkwardness among the crowd-especially when you're vocal about this and that. Even if they did earn profit and views for this segment, Showtime doesn't deserve it.
I had read the discourse on Twitter but this is the first time I watch the clip. I really hope that everyone can be educated in a way so that we and anyone won't have to face this kind of treatment anymore. Peace!
Oh my God. I really didn't know about what happened in their guesting sa showtime until I watched a clip reacting about that incident. And yeah, I'm a fan of that noontime show but it disappoints me watching how the pangpang's guesting goes. It's too painful to watched seeing the two on that stage. 😕

Idk ha bc I haven't watched the entire episode pero what disappointed me most is the absence of other hosts who could've possibly been more welcoming and saved the segment. Presence man lang ba ng mas educated, well-informed, interested na host sana - maybe anne or karylle, idk, but I trust na they would've handled this better (kaso si Vice ang "STAR" ng showtime so, ayun)
That's why I don't watch on TV anymore.
I think Vice Ganda should’ve played a greater role in this segment but seems that he himself is not aware of the circumstances. It is obvious that this segment is only to promote the show so they didn’t give much attention to it.
On the other hand, I almost felt like these BL series are only released because of the current trend and not to really educate people about the LGBTQIA+ issues. They are too short to tell the full stories, too short but of course they’re able to make money out of it.
Not sure if it’s just me. 🥲
No excuses kase nung guinest naman ni Vice sina Kokoy at Elijah sa online talkshow nya, he did his research and actually watched Gameboys. Why couldn't he do the same for PangPang and GSP?

I am so disappointed with the show. I love It's Showtime and Vice but I don't like how they treat the two. The way they treat PangPang hurt me coz they are not showing respect and no researched was done or any briefing. Vice should have known. He supported Gameboys and others. I can see how uncomfortable the two were. I support PangPang all the way.

If you really watch the show, the questions is a misnomer. It deviates from the real question for them to mislead the "tumpak tracer". This video is really out context.

What happened Vice?
Pancakes are full of energy but the show makes them feel totally uncomfortable. Awkwardness fill the air. Why? This stuff was already in mainstream, isn't it?
From the team, this is such a disappointment. But thanks a bit Showtime, next time do some substantial act in front of the camera. To me it feels like an ad, that I want to skip but here's my favorite couple. So sad.

did you watch gsp po ba? kasi the whole series tackled about issues about the community na sa showtime, ginawa nila sooo...kinda wrong, don’t you think? The series promotes equality and the show showed microaggressions na tinry i-stop ni gege by making gsp.
