I listen to a channel on here and in LA where this lady lives, her neighbors were like fraternity row. Threw parties every night. They called the cops and the cops did nothing. Kids. They think they're invincible.
I live in Orlando where it’s also fairly bad and I see parties with dozens of people at the gazebo or pool behind my apartment building literally every week. In fact, there was one today- dozens of people risking the spread of a deadly virus to throw a birthday party for a 2 year old who’s too young to even remember it! I can’t imagine how many hundreds of people are at those influencer parties. It’s so ridiculous. I had a birthday and a graduation during the pandemic... and I survived without throwing a party

Completely agree with your commentary on cancel culture. I also think shaming almost never has a positive outcome. It's much better to bring awareness to someone sit down and have a conversation about why what they did was wrong, or why it is being perceived in a certain way, why they made that mistake etc. If we just shame everyone for everything then we're creating such a toxic culture where people are not allowed to make mistakes, people are expected to be pure and perfect and there is no room for growth. It's ridiculous.
