C;mon guys, Nate Oats has lost to Rhode Island and Penn at Bama. This was a 15-2 Ole miss team that will make noise in the conference. This is as bad as Finebaum saying this year on the football team "I've never seen Bama like this". Oh, I have seen some Bama teams that would have lost to the 2024 Bama team by 55. As far as the crowd I remember a football fanbase at Bama in 2006 when probably 30K left at halftime when Bama was getting run by Ms State. Can we stop overracting. Bama had a night when the shots weren't falling. THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS when you play the Bama style of all 3's.
Worst home offensive performance in his time there for sure. They were dominated in every facet. The lack of offensive boards was alarming. Sears and Philon were a combined 2-16 from the field and Holloway was the only positive on the night.
It was bad, for sure. It was one of those nights where you could tell just a few minutes in that they were probably gonna lose. Ole Miss looked really good so credit to them but Bama just looked bad.
Yea they tried to completely discredit ole miss, said we weren’t a great team when we gave the best win in the sec as well as only losses to 2 other top 25 teams and one being a neutral site buzzer beater loss and a away loss to memphis where we did struggle alot
Not even close. Ole MIss is a Top 25 team and 1 of 2 remaining undefeated teams in the SEC, with a proven coach. Nate Oats' 1st game at Alabama was a loss to Penn. Alabama lost to a 1-17 Georgia team in 2021-22. A 17-15 (7-11) Vanderbilt team eliminated Alabama from the 2021-22 SEC Tournament. Even the home loss to a good Western Kentucky is worse than this one. This was a disappointing loss but one that you could see coming. Alabama hasn't lived up to the hype at any point this year. They're good enough to go deep in the tournament but not good enough to win the SEC Championship.
Oates is insanely overrated. Byrnes getting them a favorable tournament path last year was a joke. Dude really said out loud he doesn’t want to shoot mid range, anyone who knows ball knows that is the stupidest shit you can say 😂
Maybe it’s A wake-up call for Bama. We will see!
So no one is going to give OMs D credit……!!??

I say its a one off. It is mostly disappointing because of the hype that the team has and how far short they fell
Not sure it would have made a difference, but Bama was missing Reed.

It's the worst performance since they almost lost to North Dakota
Dunaway is the only likeable guy on this show
Not even close to the worst loss....the overreaction is insane
You're in the minority with that opinion
Ole Miss will falter later on in season. Auburn will probably win the league. Alabama maybe mid tier.
Was, in the words of Bama OL Signee Micah Debose, "belt to @ss"
