For me, what threw me off about this what the sharp pronunciation of words and strict reliance on straight meter 😂 If you listen to Kendrick, there's a deliberate mispronunciation of words like "Mama" that comes from our slang. Also, K-Dot does an immaculate joh of staying on beat while slurring/slowing the pace of his rapping (especially in Institutionalized). Overall, this performance was dope 💯
