Obviously, Shipwreck isn’t a guy over 40. I sleep got 2 hours, max, before having to wake up. Tell him to call me with his secret to good sleep,...anywhere. Maybe fighting Cobra plum-tuckered him out, on an episode-by-episode basis.
I still vividly remember the day I got the SHARC. Dad was helping a friend/maintenance guy at a hotel and I was brought along for the day. Mid-day, we made a trip to K-Mart where I bought the SHARC with the couple dollars I’d earned. The rest of the afternoon, I was able to play with the SHARC in the hotel pool. Together, we had many amazing adventures while my imagination went on a joy ride. Never forget it! Yo Joe! Another outstanding production, Mr. Mercy! Thank you, sir!
The SHARC was my first GI JOE vehicle , so much fun was had in the creek with this one. I just wish the SHARC was big enough to hold two fingers in the cockpit.
Somehow TH-cam got me to this video, which is absolutely amazing!!! Your work is so impressive, it drew me to watch another and another and another. Wow, all the great memories, life was so much easier back then!! I am thoroughly blown away by your GI Joe collection, so much so that I just went through the attic and found my entire vintage collection!! I will be going through the boxes for awhile so thank you for bringing these videos to an 80’s kid!
Fantastic video. You really remind us of the fun we can have with our toys and collecting. This can be such a serious hobby it’s great that you always bring some joy, wonder and laughter to your presentations. Specifically seeing the SHARC crashing in the waves to then suddenly lift off into the sky, with only a hint of some fishing line. That really put a smile on my face. I will have to try that out myself. Your videos are always inspiring so thank you again for making and sharing them.
I read the first comic appearance of Deep Six a a few weeks ago. I dig his cold demure. On one page, fellow JOEs were being fired on by a HISS I think, and he was shielding them with the SHARC..., with one foot resting on the control panel. Taking it easy.
I didn’t grow up in the 80’s because I’m a teen now. But I remember getting the 25th anniversary SHARC for my 5th birthday. Also, may you please do a toys gone wild on the APC?
Oh, did I enjoy this video! That Sea Ray exploding in the background and Sea Slug slowly going down into the depths of the sea 😅 and that fight between Deep Six and the Eel 👍 Excelent video as usual👏👌
Hi Michael, love your videos, great Job to bring me good old memories back, and the quality of the video (Thunderbird 5 styles) is perfect, great job ,thanks you & Be safe
Had this in 84, took it into the bathtub many a time. Lol Hey, speaking of Joe's that remind you of real world people, anyone else think Shipwreck looked a lot like 80's Kenny Loggings?
This vehicle always grabbed my imagination as a kid. It bothered me that you couldn’t put the drivers in the same position as they were shown in the cartoon though
it’s funny how the comics can make you look better than the cartoon: he was a great teammate in the comics, nearly dying saving the others despite them disliking him and making it clear that he did it because they were his teammates
Not the biggest Joe fan, but I always thought Deep Six was a unique and cool figure. Great vid! Looks like you had a blast with those exterior shots. 😎
I always wanted the sharc when i was a kid,i finally got it with the 25th anniversary one. Never cared for the chrome one they put out though. Loved the video it was very cool.
I always thought Deep Six was one of the more interesting characters. A loner who prefers the quiet and serenity of the ocean. Thanks for the review! p.s. Can you imagine if something like this (sans weapons) would be commercially available? It would sell like hotcakes!
The SHARC was my first gijoe toy and I still love it today, deep six may have not have been the best figure ever but growing up with a pool I had a ton of fun with the pump
I have both sharks and my old one the canopy broke and I wish I could find a replacement do you know any websites that I could use to find the canopy piece
Seems like the SHARC had a ton of play value, but I preferred land-based vehicles. I mean, I only got land-based vehicles for my birthday or Christmas. Unless you count Zartan and the Chameleon swamp-skiier?
Is anyone else starting to worry that Michael is getting a lot trash talk from his own video guests!? I mean come on guys he's just keeping you all in the public eye with your covert missions and top secret vehicles ..... Oh I'm starting to see the issue here. 😉
The SHARC is a fun water toy. I always thought Deep Six was grumpy due to his figure design. Nice battle scene at the end!
Thanks Droz!
check the comics, he was normally that way but a heck of a teammate to the team
Boy, that Shipwreck can sleep anywhere.

That must have been amazing! A whole pool for the SHARC! Glad you enjoyed it, Yo Joe!
Charles Bronson the baddest of the bad RIP, great shout out Michael
Amen Bubba!
Oh wow, I blinked a lot. Never knew the SHARC was in the opening

Good point about placing the men underneath; never thought of that

Loved MASK
I didn't have a SHARC as a kid, but I did have a SKY SHARC which is basically the same vehicle, but in glorious Sky Patrol chrome!
The Sky SHARC is awesome! Love all that chrome.

Thanks Brian, glad you're enjoying the videos. Yo Joe!
Thumbs up for the thrilling dog fight and underwater battle! Great effects as well. Thanks for the video.
Another excellent video hitting all the nostalgia childhood " play feels".
Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. So glad you enjoyed it. Nerdmasté! 🙏
This was awesome...thank you....thumbs up as always bro..
I grew up during the 1980s, and I wish that I got the G I Joe S.H.A.R.C.back then. That's my favorite Joe Vehicle that I've seen back in the days.
Nice to see that 928 make a cameo! Great review Mr Mercy! NERDMASTÉ ☺️
Thanks Gazz!
Love it! Seeing the reissue from 2008 all the more reasons to reissue the whole line.

Michael, that video was full of the right stuff! A well crafted heartfelt yarn of Gi Joe goodness. Always enjoy your content. Be Well.
Thanks Stephen! You as well!

Thanks! Glad to hear it. 👍
Another one that I had! What a great toy!!
Deep six in the g.i.joe classified line would be badass with modern articulation.
This a super cool review and the new S.H.A.R.C. is a nice upgrade. Awesome and very entertaining video Michael, you so totally rock.
I had the SHARC, I miss it, was a really cool design.
Hi Michael, love your videos, great Job to bring me good old memories back, and the quality of the video (Thunderbird 5 styles) is perfect, great job ,thanks you & Be safe
Thanks Stéphane!
Always love watching you play with toys Mike!👍😁. Another outstanding episode! I absolutely love Joe vehicles 👍😁
Thanks Bill!
Damn, I bet that's a good beach for finding agates!
Great video.. Thx for sharing.. 👍😎👍
Thanks Nick!
I always loved this one. Sure, Deep Six was blocky but the playability was off the charts.
Yeah his punches packed the most wallop! :D
Had this in 84, took it into the bathtub many a time. Lol
Hey, speaking of Joe's that remind you of real world people, anyone else think Shipwreck looked a lot like 80's Kenny Loggings?
He sure did!
DANGER ZONE!!
This vehicle always grabbed my imagination as a kid. It bothered me that you couldn’t put the drivers in the same position as they were shown in the cartoon though
That’s funny, Charles was from my hometown in Pennsylvania
i just bought a sharc reissue today! its a great toy

Damn, I had the Night Landing and that other Cobra raft vehicle but not the SHARC.
awesome figure 🙂👍and awesome video too 👍👍
Thankfully my phobia of sharks did not stop me from enjoying this great video 👍
Thanks! :D
The Night Landing is pretty cool.
Once again another great video!
You made my day by including a Wilhelm Scream, lol
I always wanted the sharc when i was a kid,i finally got it with the 25th anniversary one. Never cared for the chrome one they put out though. Loved the video it was very cool.
Thanks James!

I was laughing my a$$ off when the EEL screamed underwater.
The SHARC was my first gijoe toy and I still love it today, deep six may have not have been the best figure ever but growing up with a pool I had a ton of fun with the pump
Never had this figure until V2.
Its funny how this vehicle is two seater on the cartoon and the toy is one seater
One of mi the best vehicle of Gi joe
Loved this vichele
Not even a rah fan but it's still a cool toy
If anyone here is an f-zero fan this can be modified into the gx version of the blue falcon ;)
Great video!
I have both sharks and my old one the canopy broke and I wish I could find a replacement do you know any websites that I could use to find the canopy piece
Ebay's where I find all my replacement parts.
Ok thank you

The orginal Buzz Lightyear. What do you think?
To the abyss and beyond!
The wilhelm was delicious!
That was cool
Yo joe bro nice video.
Nice.
Deep six’s best movie was the dirty dozen 😎
He was great in Mr. Majestyk too, although he was especially cranky in that one.
@@MichaelMercy hahaha yup it was also weird seeing deep six in a natzi uniform 😂
Found one in a dumpster today.
