I was born in Kapasigan behind Dimasalang Bakery. Knows Kapasigan very well. There used to be Pasig, Pinoy and Pamas theater. Victoria theater of course and Topstar (Elma before). Studied at Central (PES) and Rizal High School. Yung University used to be the old market na nasunog around '75 or '76 . I have a lot of friends and schoolmate sa PES na nasunugan ng bahay nuon May fountain dati sa Pariancillo...pag gabi marami syang ilaw in different colors. There was a sunken restaurant there na may CR both sides..the basketball court..the stage itself and may may health center sa likod. Life is simple back then. One thing I cant forget while growing up ay nawawala mga kalaro ko...they are all going abroad. Marami sa Kapasigan ay mga dayo na. Wala na ang mga original na taga Pasig. Been away 30+ years but I am very fortunate being a Pasigueno. Pag umuuwi ako..di nawawala na magikot ako sa Kapasigan. Thanks.

@@yoying0 I just visited Pasig Nov.20-26..got a chance to see inside the central elementary school .so much change there the stage is pretty much level to the playground .and I get to walk in a hallway ..took pictures . Rode a tricycle to go around Pasig market stop at the church and the plaza .Rizal statue is lower now the water pond around the plaza is gone now too..went to San.Joaquin and get to shoot around with kids in San.Bernardo street where I was born ..over all it was a short weeks but is fun good weeks in the Philippines..

A nice look back. Those quieter days of Pasig life
are long gone I would wager to say.

It is really nice to see the old views of Pasig, Rizal including the historical landmarks except for the Vargas bridge because I doubt if the photo is really the old Vargas bridge because it is too long. In fact, the connection between Rotonda and Bagong Ilog will not span that length as in the picture it seems it is similar to the other suspension bridge from the north that connects one province to another. Kindly please criticize my comment if my notion is incorrect,
