According to Tafir ibn kathir "this was the first time that spotted fever (hasbah) and smallpox (judari) appeared in the land of the Arabs". on the other hand the word Ababeel is a plural of Abool which signifies a great bundle of flying creatures (lisan al arab). and if you read the arabic text of surah fil,the noun ta'ir (of which tayr is the plural), it denotes any "flying creature", whether bird or insect (lane lexicon) these were precisely the insects probably mosquetoes which carries the infection and through this infection Allah distroyed the army of Abraha. روى عكرمة عن ابن عباس ، قال : لما أرسل الله الحجارة على أصحاب الفيل لم يقع حجر على أحد منهم إلا نفط جلده وثار به الجدري Ikrimah R.A narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas R.A who said: When God sent stones on the companions of the elephant, not a stone fell on any of them except that their skin blistered and smallpox erupted (Tafir al kabir)
یہ بات پہلی بار علم میں آئ ھے کہ اللّٰہ تعالٰی کسی پیغمبر کے بھیجنے سے پہلے اس طرح کے معجزات دکھاتے ہیں دوسری بات یہ کہ جب اللّٰہ تعالٰی نے بکول آپ کے ابراہیم علیہ السلام نے دوبارہ تعمیر کی پہلے اللّٰہ نے اپنے گھر کی حفاظت کیوں نہیں کی جیسے اصحاب الفیل کے معاملے میں کی ۔اسکی صحیح تفسیر حمید الدین فراہی صاحب نے کی ھے جس میں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ قریش کے لوگوں نے پہاڑوں پر چڑھ کر ان پر پتھراؤ کیا اور اللّٰہ نے انکی مدد فرمائ تیز آندھی سے اور پرندوں نے انکی لاشیں نوچ کھائی اللّٰہ کا قانون ھے کے وہ میدان میں اترنے والوں کی مدد کرتا ھے نا کے ہاتھ پر ہاتھ بیٹھنے والوں کی ڈاکٹر شھزاد سلیم نے سورہ الفیل کی مختصر تفسیر کی ویڈیو اپ لوڈ کر رکھی ھے جو بھائی مجھ سے اختلاف کرنا چاہیے وہ پہلے وہ دیکھ لے مجھے تو انکی بات زیادہ درست لگی
