This is the first tutorial I ever followed, and it sparked my interest in graphic design. 8 years later, I'm 20 going into my final year of design school. Without resources like this, I seriously don't know what I'd be doing today so Thank You.
Hi im having a bit of trouble, can you please assist me ? i did everything as i should/as you showed us in the tutorial but instead of my brush filling the pixels with complete white it looks as if its a more gradual change (i have to paint over it a couple of times to get complete white)
I've struggled with PS for years. Can't believe it took me this long to finally watch a tutorial. I followed the step by step instructions to the letter. Have to say my image came out perfectly. Excellent instructions. Thank you so much for the feeling of accomplishment I can now enjoy.
I am a total beginner at PS and this tutorial was so easy to follow, eventhough I speak german and my PS is in german language, I could follow really easy, thank you very much!!!
These Tutorials r kind of the most helpful ones to follow here! Very easy to understand! Really like them! Thank U so much for making such good Video for us!
Hi i have problem. I'm trying to this but my work isn't on a plain background but i would like to keep the background after all is done. But, once i make the selection on the background layer with the rectangular marquee tool and filling it up, my background in that selection changes slightly. How can i fix that?
DeeEzzy Styles Hello, you can cut out the person using the pen tool or quick selection tool. Then duplicate the cut-out. From there you can keep the background as well.
your subtitle, after each step help me a lot to complete a tutorial more like to yours..!! thanks for your all interesting tutorials.., keep publishing..!!
Hi, I'm using pse 9. After selecting the 'Background' person using 'Rectangular Marquee Toll' & I don't have the "Fill" option on 'Right Click' menu (at 0:47). I have "Fill Selection", but no 'content aware' found under this option.
Terrific tutorial. personally I didn't even know there was a wind option... Again, great job. I'll be checking your tutorials out more often. Thx a 1,000,000
Really nice, professional tutorial. At first I was a bit sceptical about whether or not I would learn anything from this because you didn't use any keystrokes - which I think you should use instead of having everything on-screen, just because if you teach people the keystrokes, it'll speed up the process for them. But having everything on-screen does make it easier to follow and overall looks more professional -- still think you should use keystrokes and just let people know which ones you use and where. But I didn't know about that whole brush generator thing, so that was really cool to learn :P Thanks for the tut.
Thanks for the feedback, That's funny because I've debated lots, if I should use keystrokes instead of doing it the way I'm doing now. I'll probably end up doing it. *Thanks* :)
Sarujan Mohanathas Make sure your foreground color is white. Opacity of the brush and layer are at 100% and make sure you're on the the right mask layer. Let me know if that works for you. :)
Sarujan Mohanathas Bring up the Brush panel from the Window menu and select the brush you need, here the square brush is used. Adjust the options under Brush Tip Shape, you'll see a preview of the brush at the bottom of the panel. Then save it as a new brush. Remember, the first time you'll find it difficult, there after you can play with it. Enjoy.
this was a cool video ive been wanting to learn how to photoshop things for pranks and things of that sort so if you could possibly make more tutorials on how to enlarge objects and blend pictures in to make it look natural keep up the good work and stay strong on youtube and dont give up when times are rough
I like your tutorial and I am planning to do one by myself. Would you be able to tell me how to setup my mouse cursor the way you did. It is always cool to emphasize with the click of the mouse what you are doing and where you need to click. Thank you in advance!
Someone was charging $5 for an action (good for them I guess) but I was like, I can figure this out on youtube for free, haha. I watched a couple of these to get some different ideas. Thank you so much, awesome tut.
I did all the steps exactly the way its in the video but I'm not able to paint white on the black mask (Layer 1 mask). Is it the problem of my Photoshop or is there any error. 3:21 in the video. I tried with different pictures and many ways didn't work. Pls. help.
how can't I use the wind stylize effect. It's not available when I am about to choose it. Pretty sure this function worked well since I could apply it on a certain text. /got it: here is the solution: change the image into 8 bit (Image->mode). Hope this helps.
When I go to get a square brush, i have everything up to replace brushes, but nothing under it - so I can't select it. How to I get the rest of the options?

Killcodex Gaming Check your brush's opacity and flow values. They needs to be adjusted.
What size should the layer be before I start?

With this,we can also do the same thing with the circle brush, creating a bubbles explosion effect!
+zigaudrey Or any brush for that matter, try some of the fancier ones near the bottom of the brushes list for some really cool effects.

+Soumen Jana Hi, PSE 9 doesn't have the Content Aware Fill option. You will have to do it the hard way using the Clone Stamp tool.

Hello, applying the effect? Or re-sizing the brush?
Photoshop Tutorials applying the effect. i did as you've done on the video but when I click there are no squares.
Sarujan Mohanathas
Make sure your foreground color is white. Opacity of the brush and layer are at 100% and make sure you're on the the right mask layer. Let me know if that works for you. :)
Photoshop Tutorials no, it doesn't work, i've tried again from the begenning but still blocked on the same step
Enjoy.
I can't get the squares to come on the second layer? Is there something you can tell me to fix this?

Hi.. I am not getting the "content aware" option in my CS3.. Do i need to upgrade it to use this in CS3...
Prakash Bohra Hello, sorry to hear that. I believe Content Aware is only available in CS5 or later.
CS3 is ancient, I recommend going for CC or CS6
When I go to get a square brush, i have everything up to replace brushes, but nothing under it - so I can't select it. How to I get the rest of the options?
