MAYOR BASTE BREAKS SILENCE ON TACLOBAN

This is after the country's current chief executive pointed out in an interview that "nothing was done for the post-Yolanda rehabilitation."
The presidential son, being one of the first responding rescue volunteers in the aftermath of typhoon Yolanda, personally witnessed how his father, then Mayor Rody Duterte spearheaded the relief, rescue, and retrieval operations in Tacloban almost 11 years ago.
He and the entire Filipino nation saw how President Duterte prioritized the rehabilitation and recovery programs in Yolanda-hit areas even in the midst of a raging pandemic.
It is sad how the sitting president has become so out of touch with reality or could it be a case of selective memory when he blatantly lied before the world?
Has the president forgotten his social media updates on November 9, 2017 when he himself joined FPRRD in visiting Tacloban to inaugurate post-Yolanda housing projects?
Seven years ago, PBBM had this to say, "Thank you President Rody Duterte! Because of the sincere efforts made by this administration, the future of the ravaged areas now seems bright."
The young Duterte won't take this sitting down.
He is among the Maisugs who will continue to speak out and stand up to ferret out the truth.
