I put another fan on it Draw one in and push the other 1 out It's still safe my friend I hope you get it together I'll just make out with that big hurricane She was a rough one Just stay safe my friend
@@hillbillyfranks stay safe frank the first hurricane give us some damage but not to bad. The excavator on the other hand is doing well the old motor overheated welded the piston to the cylinder walls
Oh man sorry to see this. Well it is what it is. You'll get her back on the road so to speak. Back on the ditch? Well it happens to everyone of all machine classes. Cheap machines and million dollar machines. They all break and get repaired. I finally got mine back from the shop where I had to have an all new canopy fabricated and welded after a guy cut a tree that fell the wrong way and crushed it. Bobcat E20. $2,700 and the canopy is replaced. Twice that with labor and some other parts. About a 5k dollar disaster and the worst part is being without the machine when I needed it the most. I got her back and immediately got to work. I was lost without her.

That B&S owes you nothing. You have done a ton of work with that machine, in fact more than I probably will mine in a couple of more years. I'll be glad to hear what let loose.

Sorry to see it give up the ghost on you especially during the busy season. I do like how easy these small machines are to work on though. I think you will have better luck with one of the Honda clone engines like the Predator. I like Lifan myself and their 420cc is 15hp, but that being said I have had better luck with the cheapest Chinese Honda clones than I've had with Briggs over the last 15 years or so.
Yes they are easy to work on didn’t take no time had the engine out an yes it’s getting a predator this time around I think the Briggs is rebuidable tho
@@bmexcavation957 I think you may be happier with that predator engine after you get her back up and running. I've been wanting to get one of these for the small jobs and watching you working with and on this one has me sold. Unfortunately, I have to get my 3 ton in for pins and bushings first. Simple maintenance gets expensive when you have send it out, that's what I like about these, I can do everything it needs myself in my shop. Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next video.
That's awful tight for an air cooled motor. Need to cut some big vent holes for hot weather.

I would think about the 15 hp motor. It cost about 600 after taxes. Sorry to hear about the motor. I'm starting to use 15w 50 oil because of heat.

How many hours it got now? Mine has a koop 192 engine, diesel. You should check it out, it’s cheap.

No the fan look under floor where your feet. My first machine had room could put fan to pull air and push by the motor
