What a GREAT video. Brings back memories with my dad. He recently passed but was a great test pilot and aero engineer. He was currently working on the 787 and 737 max. Thanks again!
8:07 If you didn't know, this was the first time in around 60 years two B29s flew in formation!!! I have been waiting for this moment for a few years!!! God bless the volunteers who put Doc together and the ones who keep FIFI flying!!!
Wow, great highlight video with some excellent editing. Really captures the best of Airventure 2017. It was great to stop by and meet you Josh. I was not able to attend any of the meet ups, but look forward to 2018.
One of the things that I really appreciated was how you guys were able to capture the motion against the clouds. Had it been a clear blue day, I am not so sure that those incredible maneuvers would have come across as well as they did. But, as it was, you could get the sense of how he had so much power compared to the weight... he was throwing that plane around in crazy ways. I loved the whole video. Very nice!
Great video as always! Wish you guys could have been there Saturday for the B-52 and the B-2. The B-2 is kinda unbelievable, it's like your watching live visual effects but it's real.
I have one great plane in aviation that I love. That plane is a B-29 super fortress. When it took off it had me in tears of joy at the beautiful sight that was a B-29 super fortress. I have bee to Oshkosh once. That was in 2016. I didn't get to go in 207 sadly. Thank you flight test I love what you guys do and you continue to inspire me so much.
wow great vid guys, has goosebumps all the way through. As a young British pilot(17), it is my dream to someday come to this amazing event and meet all the fantastic people :D
Gah! Can't believe I missed it again this year. Maybe next year I can actually either fly at Oshkosh (ultralight section) or fly to Oshkosh (taylorcraft) Awesome content!!
I love flite test, but I must agree with many viewers about the EDM music, I understand the intended "vibe", but it was too dramatic. Fantastic footage though and I really appreciate you guys sharing your Oskosh adventure.
Does someone know who made the music and where I can get it??Imo music brought it all together and gave it soul, but do wish planes were louder, I csn listen to warbirds all day long
The company I work for actually had Doc land at our hanger (I work for a company that makes radios and plane stuff) and I got to see it up close. Those things are massive!
I believe they are related to a sonic boom that's made when the plane goes faster than the speed of sound. With explosions, they're called "shock condensation clouds", and it's caused by the air pressure dropping so low (due to the shock) that water condenses and forms a small cloud. Still photos of them can sometimes look really, really cool.
I met and spoke with Mr Tucker in Piqua Ohio,Had a little chat with him,,got a few Pictures of him up close with the plane and His Autograph on his Dvd,,,What a amazing man...In the past I also Met Jessey Panzer, and she too is a amazing young Lady,I got a few Pictures of her up close and her and I AND OF HER PLANE..She and Tucker are just AWESOME....
That little green plane could be a definite contender for Red Bull Air Race Lites. It could really bring a new element to air racing. Also that B1B Lancer... seriously no one has a true appreciation of the noise that makes until they hear one in person!
I can attribute part of my tinnitus to my days in B-1 flight test at Edwards back '84-'86. A young Air Force SSgt of 22 standing just behind the left wingtip of B-1B Ship 1 during a night 4 engine burner run. 120,000 pounds of thrust 50 feet away, four 30 foot supersonic blue flames and a sound level that is simply unimaginable. Earplugs and a headset on but you feel the sound by your bones shaking. It feels like the concrete under you is shaking so much if you leaned forward you'd skitter across the surface without taking steps like some kind of stop motion animation. Now decades later I have a white noise hiss like a leaky air hose wrapped around my head every waking moment but I'm used to it.
What a GREAT video. Brings back memories with my dad. He recently passed but was a great test pilot and aero engineer. He was currently working on the 787 and 737 max. Thanks again!
This so reminded me of when I was kid and going to an air show with my dad its very emotional for me. Keep it coming guys.. Love you all.
8:07 If you didn't know, this was the first time in around 60 years two B29s flew in formation!!! I have been waiting for this moment for a few years!!! God bless the volunteers who put Doc together and the ones who keep FIFI flying!!!

Amazing pilots and aircraft. Thank you.
I love flite test, but I must agree with many viewers about the EDM music, I understand the intended "vibe", but it was too dramatic. Fantastic footage though and I really appreciate you guys sharing your Oskosh adventure.
