I listen to this immediately after London, 1856, and the ending always hits me so hard.
Frankly, my favorite part is 0:30-0:45. Those 15 seconds are just so perfectly orchestrated. I wish I could have heard more from those bagpipes.
i hate how they make a battle seem like a fuss the reason why this sounds so good is because it sounds like a struggle rather than a fight/fuss or chaos which is innacurrate
@@eggisfun4217 Buddy, the reason they battles seem like chaos is quite simply because THEY *ARE* CHAOS!
I don’t think those are bagpipes. They don’t quite have the right sound to be bagpipes.
THIS IS F***ING AWESOME. Seriously somebody make a movie based on this music and those images.
Thy more or less have a game guns of icarus
lol
"The steam-powered battleship was stopped in the shores of New Brittania, while the queen's forces were battling against her own rogue Commodore. The captain of the Battleship decided to fire off his newest asset - the "Flyer", a bird-like machine to fight the mightiest ship of all: The H.M.S Sieger." :D
You walk into a long corridor, the walls lined with metal and the sound of machinery and the smell of smoke and steam fills the air. As you exit the corridor sleeping to your left is a dragon made of gears and clockwork. As you try to be quiet you accidentally dropped an object from your pocket. With a mighty whir the dragon comes to life with the sounds of gears as his artificial roar fills the giant room. His eyes focus on you.
Roll for initiative
Brilliant!
Walid Feghali THANK YOU!!!! I loved this the instant I found it. Also, that is going to happen in an upcoming Pathfinder (D&D) session I’m hosting! Thanks so much! I’m sure the players will love this music! Keep up the work!
in that scenario I'd be like ….fuck RUUUUUUUN (cue castlevania 3 death sound)
Damn I rolled a 1
Aw crap... I rolled a 4.
Welp, out comes the vorpal blade I stole from the last BBEG I guess...
Love that "London 1856" reference at the end, it feels like it's part of the other song's story.
I can easily picture a great steampunk battle going on in my head. airships, biplanes and other strange flying machines flying about in the sky. ^_^
You know, that almost happened. The navy developed a class of airship in the 1920s that could hold biplane fighters. Alas, it was a few years too late to see warfare.
Gabe McDonald Your thinking of the Akron and Macon airships, the Navy's Flying aircraft carriers.
YOAWCo Yep! Planned for use as reconnaissance, but a battle of midway could have still hypothetically happened.
uuuuhhhh...what are guys talking about?! did you like the video???
Imagine this playing in the steampunk game guns of icarus
oh my god I've been looking for this for a year now! Easily the most epic piece of steampunk music I've ever heard
That's awesome to hear. :) Thank you! Best, W.
Yesterday, I had seen old silent movie "Battle in the sky" in local library con, with live band playing music to it and there I realized, what was probably the inspiration...
+Falkon Nightsdale Very interesting! :)
Walid Feghali as stupid it may sound but is there a possibility of a Western steam punk
Rivaldo Villegas Western steampunk? so steampunk with the tophats replaced with cowboy hats instead?
Both battle in the sky tracks, yours and the Fiechter's, are amazing!
Just realized the ending at 2:08 references "London, 1856", super brilliant! Been listening to both as inspiration for a steampunk story I'm outlining, so fantastic work!! 😁
This has to be my most favourite Steampunk track out there. Everytime "London, 1856" pops up I get chills down my spine, no joke. Amazing job.
You are a brilliant composer. Hats off. I always look forward to seeing new works from you
Love this piece of music!! Great to listen to in the background when you're writing.
Amazing, gives me chills every time I listen to it.
Beautiful stuff, the music fits perfectly. Was especially inspired by the third scene (the WW II era planes and the steampunk flying fortress. Made me think of the technology of two dimensionally separate worlds cross-fertilizing each other. Been working on a steampunk play for a while and scenes like THAT make me say, "YES!!!!!" Thank you.
Yes! I've been waiting for days for this :D
Walid...this is amazing!!! Gave me goosebumps!
Thank you been needing sky chase music for my Eberron campaign!
Awsome job man! I like it!
Good stuff as always bruh!!
2:10
Oh yes! London 1856 REPRISE!!!!
This song is incredible!!! It has a great rhythm, and just sounds epic. I wish I found this sooner.
Amazing finish :) Definitely subscribing now, I really like steampunk music, especially without words.
THIS IS SO GOOD! Oh MAN!!!! Such powerful music! You, my good sir, have earned a subscription this day. The skies are ours!
Been listening to your steampunk songs now for quite a while whilst roleplaying over the net with some friends, god damn man, inspiring stuff! I demand more.

2:20 The own theme like in Bttlefield or Skyrim, so nice.
Ikr! Battlefield 1942

Wow!This is realy cool!!.....
wow....just wow
Brilliant. Shivers down my spine.
Most epic song my ears have witnessed...
Yes yes yes! Just the moment I heard the beginning, my whole body was in goosebumps! I was wondering when you were going to make another Steampunk Orchestration. The added sound effects give it a wondrous and adventurous flavor, as if you are really there. I love it! Keep it up my good friend!
Awesome work... Your steampunk songs are really inspiring. Congratz Feyron! o/
So epic! :D
Combine this with guns of Icarus gameplay
And Company of Heroes... and Jazz too.
Amazing
this is totally AMAZING!!! I think the this would be the ending/middle to a movie with London, 1856 at the beginning!
I needed some music for a steampunk fight thing and this would be great
LOL London 1856!! YESZ!!!
OMG I love so much when artists put part of other musics into a new one!!!
OMG I'm loooving this so much!!!
This deserves the category epic music.
My god THE SOUNDS EFFECTS!!!
Epic isnt enough to describe this...
Dig your music man,

Why are you not famous yet? This is amazing!
You are the single greatest composer of all time.
I mean that wholeheartedly.
This is great! I'm a writer and I've been leaning towards creating a steampunk-ish novel. All of your creations are super helpful for coming up with visualisations and such. :)
I liked this very much. Thanks for posting.
nice,
the last part reminded me of battlefield soundtrack
AWESOME :D
Hahah, thats awesome. Thanks my man!!
one of the best thanks for this you have deeply inspired me and moved me XD
Man the dirigible! All hands on deck!
I imagine all of your songs in the soundtrack of Bioshock.

I certainly enjoyed this. MUCH ENJOYED THIS.
And I heard that nostalgic surprise at the end, I've been listening.
You, my friend, deserve a subscription. :)
Appreciated!! :)
Walid Feghali my pleasure :D
I'm glad to hear it! :) Enjoy my friend
Oh snap!
REALY GREAT SONG...... i couldnt stop thinkin of a giant airship battle that happened in ff12
im getting Jeremy Soul vibe when listening your music, i regret that i i haven't found you earlier. hope to find more music from your channel.
Amazing music, I have been looking for soem good steampunk style music to have on when I'm playing Guns of Icarus. This stuff is perfect.
very well composed
I found one of my comments from three years ago, well done me. I can tell I was intelligent.
I like this. It's giving me a Guns of Icarus vibe
My new dnd gnome battle theme thank you bunches
I always think of one of those french pre dreadnaughts in battle when i hear this song.
Dude, for the love of all things musical, just make more music scores because holy crap the world needs more music like this. WAY more.
wow ._.
this is a masterpiece this music :D
Well I honestly think this music would be perfect for the air battle between the airships Jenny Haniver and the 13th Floor Elevator! Perhaps even the battle over Brighton with the Flying Ferrets and the Green Storm's battle fleet!
now you mention it...it does sound like it!
You need to produce an entire album like this.
OH HELL JUST GOT TO THE END AND STARTED SOBBING
I was visualizing a few scenes from Skies of Arcadia, namely when two ships came up beside one another and just let loose with the broadsides.
there needs to be a literal steampunk anime all about fights in the sky
Why the hell is Peter Jackson not hiring you for the Mortal Engines soundtrack?!
Mother of God. This has got to be, without a doubt, the most sexy and epic thing I've heard in my entire life.
i like the tapping that sounds like .50 cals going off however they are too short to be a weapon burst
How do you even..... Holy Gods........ Geez........ My ears are orgasming....... What do you use to make this? This is phenominal!
Yeah! XD
Oh! And awesome use of "The Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog" by Caspar David Friedrich, to close out the vid. That's actually the current desktop on my home PC. ;)
1:02 Now THAT is something I want to take part in!
The typing machine sounds on the background were a great idea. lol
I wait that. :)
very beautiful i wish i could play in your orchestra too! >_
if there's going to be a videogame with this music in it, that's only more of a reason for me to want the game. xD Steampunk's quite an interesting theme.
When you're playing Guns of Icarus, and your whole squad charges into battle.
I like the F4U Corsair coming in.
* I'm playing the exact airframe in worldofwarplanes closed beta ...
Such a beast.
You should seriously consider monetizing your videos. This is too good for you to not make money off of ads.
This is awesome!!! maybe you could do more tracks and have a full album? :D
+Ben Mathis I would love to! Just need the priority for it :D A lot of other things to do before that.. :)
When I read that, I thought you were talking about Guns of Icarus Online! I'd love to hear your music while playing that! :O
I put these on my mp3 player and listen to them when I take my dog for a walk. Never has dog walking been such an epic affair.
I use sample libraries from different companies, like Tonehammer, East West Quantum Leap, Project Sam, Cinesamples, etc. They contain alot of articulations and stuff for composers to elaborate their musical ideas. Check them out! There are TONS of them out there, percussion, strings, brass, choirs, you name it.
We need a steampunk game with this song
WE NEED A NEW BIOSHOCK HAME WITH THIS!!
daaaaaaamn this shit is macrank, keep it comin!!
