    Great explanation of how/causes of early extension.... "lack of depth ..caused by set up".... I dont have open clubface/grip problem so "lack of depth..set up" was spot on!

    This is fantastic. I have a huge problem with early extension and I haven't seen a video before this one that diagnosed the root causes.

    Great video with loads of information. I will watch it a bunch of times. During winter-training I practised the drill ( down and around) with a little help of a pro and a plastic chair. ; )

      Gilles - really good (again) explanation of the “why” and the “how” in language that makes it easy to understand! Guys, Beware the 30 second fix because that is what it is and how long it could last!!! Take the time to watch this video a few times even on the range while you are able to hit balls

    • @Gilesgillgolf
      @Gilesgillgolf  ปีที่แล้ว

  • @pastorjason4337

    Gill, my biggest miss is a pull and or a pull hook. I have also started struggling with ball first contact. Biggest struggles with woods and driver. I feel like my set up doesn't allow me to start right which doesnt allow me to end right. gotta be over the top with square to closed clubface correct?

    • @Gilesgillgolf
      @Gilesgillgolf  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not necessarily. The pull part indicates the face is closed as the ball is starting left. For the dead pull both path and face match up but for the pull hook your path can be neutral or right and still hit a pull hook
