The fact that Sheglam is synonymous with Shein is an instant “NO” from me.
Fast fashion/makeup: ruining the environment, and your skin (I imagine), one step at a time.
I mean almost all companies are starting to move that way which ones do you think arent fast fashion i genuinely would like to know?
@ lol, where are you shopping?! I can’t think of one - and I own an embarrassing number of products - that is even remotely comparable to Sheglam (unless you’re counting Zara or H&M).
“Drugstore” brands are also terrible, but I don’t purchase from those either (and at least they have long-standing R&D teams, and operate in the same factories as their luxury counterparts, ensuring ingredient safety, and implementing quality control).
If you’re truly interested, brand recommendations I have included:

Edit: no matter what brands you buy from buy them if you really need it unnecessary products are gonna end up in filth it doesn't matter which country produces them almost all brands use plastic to manufacture and plastic is harmful for the environment. Just because you are buying from US and European countries makeup and skincare in excess where it is not possible to consume them in a year is a waste. Only splurge if necessary and just because a product is viral you don't want it in your vanity.
@@alikat8221 any product you use is still gonna end up in filth no matter what brand it is from as consumers we should buy products mindfully and not just own a lot of products without using them fully. So all the product you have is also gonna end up in filth and hurt the environment all the brands are chasing profits instead of "caring" for the environment

I hope folks realise that Sheglam is a Shein sub brand. Shein has a bad reputation for contributing to environmental pollution as well as stealing ideas from indie designers. Choose wisely.
If you're playing 1199 for a foundation, it is lux!
Not at all. Luxe foundations typically start at 3k and can go up to 7k. Very few luxe brands are even sold in India because they are so outrageously exorbitant.
@chitsb no my point is, when mars and insight are making premium quality foundations with equally good packaging at such and affordable price that if you end up paying so much it better be good and that's the least of it.
