Do those screws on the back need to be removed before removing the keyboard? [ie: is the keyboard only held in place by the clips unhooked with the large tweezers?]
hey, there is a way to recalibrate your pen using the OS (Windows on a tablet PC has this feature). if that doesnt work, check to see if you have the latest firmware update from Wacom for the pen itself. hope this helps.
hey thanks dude .. it would be great if u can tell me what color cables should i connect to wireless LAN card i dont have a WWAN card installed so it seem like too many cables .thanks
I see you are putting in a modem, but can one also put in an SSD drive in that same slot? I am looking at buying an SSD based x220 tablet product and then adding the hitachi 7mm thick dirve (320 MB)at a later date as drive D:. is this possible?
No, because the motherboard doesn't have the socket/jack for the plastic ribbon connector plug to power the backlighting. To reiterate: The keyboard itself will work but there is no way to power the backlighting due to a lack of motherboard support. Sorry. :(
+Matthew Taylor I was actually seeking someone who personally had a working 8GB model. Geeksquad and PCW both failed to get the upgrade to work on mine... ...my pursuit triggered by the "8 GB" information on Google. To date, I fail to understand why people feed "Google" information to answer questions that many of us have already asked Google and tried to resolve issues prior to asking others online... .:-/
I am using this thing for school and it is still pretty good... also nice wallpaper of Fox
A real neat clear presentation - Best wishes
Thank you for the video. helped me clean out my fan on my laptop.

@miguelroblesg Your X220 is not waterproof! Yes it does have drainholes, however that doesn't mean that it will take a shower :)

Can a new x backlight keyboard be retrofitted to the x200t?
Is it possible to switch out the processor or is it impossible to remove?
Is that a 2nd Drive bay on the left side closest to you? (not closest to monitor)
how much RAM is supported?
+TheRangeControl pretty sure the X200 will take 8gb = 2 of 4gb modules. specs easily googled.
