- Welcoime to my channel. In this video I restore and customize a Corgi AMC Pacer circa 1982 - 1985 in the style of Garth's car from the 1992 movie Wayne's World starring Mike Myres and Dana Carvey.

My uncle worked as a mechanic at an AMC dealership and one day my dad came home with a brand new puke-green 1975 AMC Pacer. A little known fact is the passenger door was larger than the driver's side to make it easier for one to get into the back seat. I inherited that car when I learned to drive. Low, heavy and wide, the AMC Pacer could handle corners like a champ.
The crack in the windshield and the paint in the back adds to the charm of this car.. if you remember it was not in the best of shape anyway.. should look a little old... just needs a car full of guys banging their heads to queen!!!
You did a great job, as always. The neighbors across my street had a Pacer (this was the later 70s). She brought home a bag of fertilizer one day and the fumes ruined her new contacts, which were wicked expensive). The neighbor next door had a lime green AMC Gremlin.
My aunt had a pacer of about the same year. We once packed two adults and NINE teens/kids in it to go swimming down the road at the conservation area.
AMC Pacers are just so beautiful, cute, cuddly, snuggly, sweet, special, and adorable as heck🥰🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️!! Great restoration Danny

A buddy of mine had a turd brown Pacer when we were in high school. I'll never forget that car...it took us everywhere! Nice job on this one!

Excellent job. Not only one of my favorite movies but my dad had a Pacer as well.
Love it! You did a great job Danny. I had a 1976 Pacer as my first car in 1982. My sisters hand me down. Manual, with shift on steering column. Clutch was awful and eventually, you could drive it without a key( long story). Nothing is better than doing doughnuts in a parking lot in a big glass bubble!

The AMC Pacer is one of my favorite cars. AMC made a lot of cool cars. I have this model in the same red color yours started in.

I haven't seen the movie but I've driven a Pacer. It didn't send shivers down my spine but still, my body's aching all the time...

Great job on the Pac! A little automobile knowledge for you, the passenger door on the Pacer is longer than the driver door, they built it this way for easier access curbside to the rear passenger to enter and exit the back seat

Wayne's World is one of my top 5 favourite films, I remember watching it on TV with my dad. Who's a rock music fan, a good few years after its release. An still enjoy watching it now, I really like how this Corgi Pacer turned out. Might try an find one myself, to customize into the Myrth Mobile!!
