My Sp125 gives ( solo riding without any bags ) ( 2 servicing completed ) 91kmpl , in echo mod on constant speed 55 On highway I checked mielage with half litre petrol , I am very shoked with the results my Sp runs 45.4 km in half litre , that means nearly 91 kmpl. And I also done half litre test on village rods which are in very bad condition , I ride bike between 20-35, With echo mod on/off condition And my guess is on that road is 30 km in half litre , but again I am surprised SP runs 43 km on that road ❤️ That means it gives 86 kmpl on village roads. Very very fuel efficient and smooth engine from Honda . Loving it ❤️❤️❤️ I checked km renge accuracy it is more than 98% accurate , ( km renge is totally depends on your riding style ) Before checking mielage My bike show 140 km renge and my bike runs 138 km I checked mielage meters accuracy , Not 100% accurate but more than 98% accurate . That's more enough. highway mielage - 91 kmpl Meter mielage - 92 kmpl Village road mielage - 86 kmpl Meter mielage - 88 kmpl You are not going to feel that your are westing money after purchasing this bike.

I fill petrol of Rs 700 and i ride my bike patna to jhanjhanpur (madhubani), distance-186km..then from jhanjhanpur to darbhanga, distance-56.5 km..then from darbhanga to jhanjhanpur, distance-56.5 km..then finally from jhanjganpur to patna, distance -186 km...total 485km...it means ki my bike mileage was 73 km per litre....aur jbki 70 to 90 ke speed me ride kia..best bike...no problm to ride 485 km in a day...
New bikes will give you Mileage upto 100km/ltr, will be reduced after 1000 km. Every 500 km need to apply chain fluid and every 2000 km required oil change for better mileage. Maintain speed not more than 50 kmph.

Company always add 10 extra mileage indicator to digital meter so if it is showing 80 km/ltr then we have to assume it as 70 coz digital meter is company fitted so mileage indicates always a bit high

I also have Shine Sp 18 model. & it gives 54-57 at any congested city ride, & 58-62+ anytime in long ride, even if I drive at 55+Kmph. If you drive it in 45-50 range in long ride, it will never give you below 62/63 Knpl milage at any cost.

Just 200 ml to test ride and arrive at mileage is flawed. Honda itself has declared 16% mileage increases which is no where close to the one claimed in this video.
Firstly fuel injection does not get damaged when there is low petrol. Only it may damage fuel pump (it will only happen if we repeat this method of mileage test) I have only done the mileage through this method once.

This isn't REAL world mileage. I had extracted 85+ kmpl mileage from my BS4 Honda Shine by riding at 40 continuously on highway once. But actual mileage I get in city is 50-55. It depends on the riding style too, nobody is so gentle on the accelerator as you are. In city SP 125 will give around 55-60 kmpl definitely.

It is a good bike. I did the mileage test of this bike from showroom therefore I didn't remember how to set trip switch. Press the left button to trip 1 then press hold the right button for few second. If it wouldn't set then switch off(key) and again switch on the button. Again come to left button bring it to trip 1 and press hold for few second then it may sure work.

Even though a 5gear bike lot of vibration experiencing above 60. Now I'm getting bored with this bike exhaust sound is not good very irritating. I should have buyed bs4 shine sp instead of buying this bike at a higher price

Sir. Can we fill it tank wit minimum 3lts fuel to avoid damage of fuel injection equipment?
Firstly fuel injection does not get damaged when there is low petrol.
Only it may damage fuel pump (it will only happen if we repeat this method of mileage test)
I have only done the mileage through this method once.

I have got 81kmpl on my new 2019 honda shine limited edition model once. And once got 58. It may vary based on road conditions, city or highway and speed. Anyway you will surely get above 56kmpl on any conditions.
Possible hai dosto yeh FI engine hai aur almost 100% friction loss nahi hai....Yeh Honda hai jo power aurrefinement ke liye jaana jaata hai 81 chodo ye samaj ke chalo 70kmpl ke neeche milega hi nahi..aap kaise bhi chalao.

This isn't REAL world mileage. I had extracted 85+ kmpl mileage from my BS4 Honda Shine by riding at 40 continuously on highway once. But actual mileage I get in city is 50-55. It depends on the riding style too, nobody is so gentle on the accelerator as you are. In city SP 125 will give around 55-60 kmpl definitely.

It is a good bike. I did the mileage test of this bike from showroom therefore I didn't remember how to set trip switch.
Press the left button to trip 1 then press hold the right button for few second.
If it wouldn't set then switch off(key) and again switch on the button. Again come to left button bring it to trip 1 and press hold for few second then it may sure work.

Nope I don't believe it. I own this bike the mileage I'm getting is just 58 or 60kmpl that too I ride in economy range. I was really amazed with its style and look. Even though a 5gear bike lot of vibration experiencing above 60. Now I'm getting bored with this bike exhaust sound is not good very irritating. I should have buyed bs4 shine sp instead of buying this bike at a higher price
