Actually that record was broken a couple of years ago by Sabine Lisicki unfortunately (. Venus has a faster but not as reliable serve as Serena. What is even more impressive is the height difference. Venus is 6 '1" Serena is 5 '9". And it's very difficult to read Serena's serve. All that makes it the BEST ever female serve in history... That's why they were focusing on her and not to the girls that serve harder then her...

Tylar people think that Serena Williams is the greatest tennis player ever, she isn’t, she is the greatest women’s tennis player ever. Serena would probably get beat by a Division 2 Tennis player and a professional male tennis player would absolutely destroy her. People think that men and women should be the same. I oppose in the sense that there are biologically and psychological differences between men and women. We should treat men and women equally, at the same time, recognize the differences.

Look up Pete Sampras. Serena has always said she modeled her serve on his. It was just as lethal as Sampras too. Sampras served to men and was deadly good. Serena serves to women and is the same. Same serve, two different players, same result. That result is greatness. Gender doesn’t really have anything to do with it.
