I was born in 1953. . 1960s Motown & Soul in my teens, 1970s Disco in my 20s, House/OldSkool in my 30s --- For me 1986--2000 was just the best time. . . So, yep, I'm 71 now, still feel 35 & still loving all these 90s dance tracks & as passionate about them as I always was. Still have over 1000 12"s.
I live in the north of Brazil, in a city in the middle of the Amazon rainforest and this time was the best ever. Until now, there are themed parties with music from that period every month and daily radio shows.

I still remember the summer night heat and me going after those pretty girls on the beach in the morning in my hometown Sousse (Tunisia) trying to get their attention, practise my broken English with them and then date them at night in a handful clubs. That was my big passion when I was a teen. Fuck!!!! I missed the old gold days !!!! oldies but goldies. Why has life changed so much ?????!!!!! Am I just being too melancholic or is it just the reality !

LOL Where did the time go? :( I was born in 82, So the 90's were my era, and I remember my parents bitching about how much better music was in the 70's and 80's. (I love 80's music too) I do know how they feel now, as the music of today lacks any substance whatsoever, which is probably why so many are nostalgic for the 90's. What is more, it was Pre 9/11, before the world went crazy, when America truly was still a respected Super Power. Only problem was when I overused it and was barely standing, but then again the crowd was so trained from the past 3-4 hours that they didn't care about the mixes anymore all they wanted was good tracks.
I used to DJ in some nice clubs back then, really miss those years.

"Music was so much better back then." When did we become our parents? LOL Where did the time go? :( I was born in 82, So the 90's were my era, and I remember my parents bitching about how much better music was in the 70's and 80's. (I love 80's music too) I do know how they feel now, as the music of today lacks any substance whatsoever, which is probably why so many are nostalgic for the 90's. What is more, it was Pre 9/11, before the world went crazy, when America truly was still a respected Super Power. I understand now why my mother gets a little sad when she listens to the music of her era..... Viva the 90's. :)
