Whelan’s Garage is a family run farm machinery business operating from 3 locations in the Midwest of Ireland. In 1968, fresh out of the Air Corps in Baldonnel, Joe Whelan set up in Kilrush with the Zetor tractor agency and over 50 years later the company continues to thrive and grow thanks to its loyal customers, hard working staff and huge family support. With our roots firmly established in the agricultural industry selling leading brands like Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Kverneland to name a few, we expanded our expertise to the lawn and garden industry over the past 10 years.
Today we have built a new business unit based on the key principles of our enterprise: to offer the customer premium products backed up with our renowned service and support. Starting with Husqvarna we have added Honda, Kubota and Wessex to our line up so that we now offer a range of product solutions to meet the needs of the most demanding commercial customers. For home owners, councils, landscapers, sports clubs, hospitality providers, caravan parks and golf courses our solutions range from robotic lawnmowers to 8 meter trailer roller mowers.

I don’t think there’s any shortage of agitators I could be wrong now but every yard I go into has a few knocking about, great videos it’s great to get around theses dealerships that are far away from some of us
You possibly are right, but I know a man who was waiting over 6 months for a redrock galvanised agitator in Tralee.

My dad bought 2 Massey's back in 2000. Cause he won the lottery back in 98 bought a farm Ballymoney area. Great videos

Love watching your videos nice yard could you tell me what’s the difference between the Massey 5400 dyna 4 and the older 5400 without the dyna 4 I’m interested in one of those tractor but don’t know the difference
I'm not two sure, but I would assume the older 5400 is just a straight gearbox, with very little electric components more straightforward. The dyna is a great system, and the speed shift is just one gear like the julepower on the ford's

Massey ferguson took over Fella machinery, mowers rakes tedders.
When did that happen 🤔 they have a full range of equipment nowadays , a bit like newholland
Only about 5 maby 6 years ago, I had a fella rake and traded it in for a massey ferguson one, they are the very same no difference
Lely bought out/merged with welger 20 years or so ago then Agco bought out Lely /Welger 5 years or so ago.......Agco also owns Massey Ferguson /Fendt and Valtra

Everyone says John Deere and fendt are kings and most reliable. Not that I can afford any of European/american tractors but just curious
I think it is a marketing thing at this stage and down to good dealerships . And of course, the secondhand value they day you bye is the day you sell . But I still can't understand why small farmers don't by some of the cheaper brands . MF AND JD are Kings 🤴
Totally agree, dealer more important than brand, if you have a good dealer looking after you, won’t see you stuck for a tractor if yours is in getting work done, give you a demo machine to use even if he know your not in the market, dealer before brand everything ❤
