Has Sharpton ever repented for all the racist things he has said over the years? Has he publicly said he was sorry? As a follower of Jesus we all need to do that. One issue that I have is that he brings race into much of what he says. If people would stop judging by people's skin color we would all be better. There is only 1 race, the human race according to the Bible. We need to stop bringing people's skin color into the conversation. What does it matter anyway? Also, I'm tired of hearing preachers bringing politics into the pulpit. Why try to persuade someone how to vote? Are people not smart enough for themselves to figure it out? This goes for all churches.

Would someone PLEASE help me to understand how persons who call themselves CHRISTIAN followers of CHRIST, can also support political candidates who promote and fight for abortion rights?
I know most of the talk surrounds rape, incest, and the mother's health - but those cases are only about 2 to 3 percent of all abortions. The VAST MAJORITY of abortions are because of "inconvenience". The pregnancy was a mistake....a surprise...simply not wanted! That means that out of 60 million abortions, about 57 million abortions were because of irresponsibility!!!
The LORD said - "Thou shalt not kill"
The LORD said - "Before I form you in the belly I knew you"
The LORD said - "It is better to have a stone strapped around your neck and you be thrown into the sea rather than you should HURT A LITTLE ONE"
The LORD said - "If you do 'this' to the LEAST of these, you have done it to me"
The Word of the LORD says - Do not be hasty to lay hands on no one, lest you take THEIR SINS upon you. (Laying hands on someone is being in agreement with them, and so is VOTING for someone)
The Word of the LORD says - Have NO PART with those who do evil. (Would you call abortion a good?)
I cannot vote for Democrats because of this issue. If I am wrong and the LORD believes it is OK to vote for pro-abortion candidates, and HE asks me at the judgment why I did not vote for such candidates, I will present to HIM these scriptures in my defense.
I will also say: LORD, the ONLY OTHER REASONS why I might vote for Pro-Abortion candidates is because THEY have made some type of political promise to give me some benefit like tuition cancellation...tax cuts....minority set-asides....housing vouchers.....job promises.... OR those candidates WARNED me against the HARM the other candidate would do to me if the Pro-abortion candidate is not voted in.
I would go on to say,
BUT LORD....instead of me looking to Pro-abortion candidates for GIFTS....or for PROTECTION from the other candidate, I looked to YOU, LORD GOD, for both blessings and safety. And I believed YOU would be more pleased with me believing your WORD and doing what is right in YOUR EYES, according to this YOUR WORD that I have presented here.
I didn't vote for pro-abortion candidates, O LORD my GOD, for these reasons!!!
What do you think the LORD would say to me after I tell HIM those things?
Now, flip it.
What if the LORD considers it WRONG to give your support and your vote to Pro-abortion candidates?
What BIBLE SCRIPTURE will you use to defend your actions? (Not philosophy, reason, psychology, or any other man's reasoning} Provide Just BIBLE scriptures to defend giving your support to Pro-abortion candidates!!!

PS....The LORD did indeed give man the right to "choose"....BUT the LORD went on to TELL man what to choose.....and HE said, "CHOOSE LIFE"!!!
PSS.....I've been told by some Christians that they only vote for the "good" things the candidate stands for but not the bad. To this, I pointed out the fact that Saul, in Acts 7 & 8, only "guarded" the coats of those who took up stones and stoned Stephen to death, without throwing any stones himself. YET, ALMIGHTY GOD placed the responsibility of Stephen's death on Saul, because he was CONSENTING! Voting is your CONSENT!!!

I hear you, but technically, we can't "let" or "allow" GOD to be or do anything. HE does HIM and HE does what HE wants without anything from us.
We should strive to "let man, (which is all of us), be GOD-like."
