Imcase your confused, hopper used to be with another girl when he was a young adult, they had a girl together (his biologically daughter) but she died of cancer and his wife broke up with him after. It gives hop bad memory’s and he tears up whenever it’s mentioned, that’s why he says “AM I CURSED JOYCE” and Joyce says “I DIDNT MEAN IT LIKE THAT”
