Had a similar experience and emailed Axor Customer Care (Vega Customer Care) with a video. They asked me to courier the helmet to their facility in Karnataka. Frustrated, I opened it myself. It’s not a manufacturing defect; it’s a massive design flaw. The tensioner cable runs through two riggers without any clamps or locking mechanism. When the cable gets dirty or rusty, users apply extra pressure on the lever switch, causing the cable to come loose and the clamp to move independently. Since it's part of the shell, no one can replace it. So, I used a lighter and a plastic zip tie to melt it and poured it over the riggers, locking the clamp. The helmet might be broken now, but the cable will never come free 😂

My Axor helmet had issues with inner visor as well as outer.
