I am totally disagree with you. I have 220 street. I purchased in 2017 October. I didn't face any problem. My age is 52 and I ride 300 km in one day. Smooth ride, comfort, milage in city 35 and on highway 43. Parts are also available in local area.
But I surprised that you gave opinion on this not to purchase. It's too bad.
Brother i don't want to missguide anyone. And also don't have any intention to do that .. i just sharing my experience with the bike. And service provided by Bajaj is vey poor in rural areas. By the way thanks for your word.
You can drive your bike 300 km in a day and have purchased your bike in 2017 that means you have driven the bike about 400000 kms to 450000 kms
Really Bajaj Avenger runs that much, any bike has life from 100000 to 150000 kms, if you pull a lot more then 200000 kms you have done amazing job 450000 kms I mean seriously 😐

I also own one and it's 30,000 km in 3yrs, it is awesome bike for long trip every weekend I use to go 300 to 400 km ride and the comfort and stablity it provides at 110kmh speed is unmatched, it is most stable bike it gives u confidence to overtake and it's top speed is 120kmh, and meilege on highway 39kml and in free city road 43kml. If I have to buy again a bike I will go with averager. And I never felt engine heating problems it might have happened with him because of high acceleration at low gear or idealing might not be proper.
In 60kmph speed i am getting around 53 kms mileage

Problems! 😄 Don't Mind, My bike 3 years old 220 Street 19000kms done, NEVER any issues. Most reliable bike ever. Starts in 1 stroke with choke even after 15days of not using. Carburettor ki setting expert mechanic se karwa lo, Accha engine (motul/Castrol semi synthetic oil 1100 ml) oil, drain interval 2500kms, clutch use krna acche se and you get 35 plus mileage and happy bike

I have been using Avenger 180 for the past 3 and half years.. so far I had to change one way ruler kit twice luckily it was covered under warranty.. and then I had change the battery once..apart from these I had no other issues.. my bike is still hitting 112 kmph speeds.... if possible u can replace the 4 AH batterywith 9AH for durability but an expert mechanic is needed...
Overall its a good bike but we cannot use it or rather rev it like a racer bike.. since its a cruiser slow and steady wins the race.. in terms of riding comfort this bike is awesome..
I absolutely agree with you. But some of the spare parts are not available in rural areas. Also bajaj service center deny to order it. Thats the main issue. Otherwise bike is awesome regarding comfort. But still bajaj didn't make any special changes is the cruiser segment as compared to price.

My bike mileage around 50+ kmpl with motul engine oil with cooled technology and bike have no single problem in engine and bike heating problem also gone
Mene Avengers 150 use ki he 115000 km chala chuka hu or isaka 25000 km ke baad aapko piston ka kaam karvana padega . Engine Quality very poor abhi tak mene service centre se 4 time engine ka kaam karva diya he

Shi baat I have purchase new 180 street...from 4 yr..15k kms chali h 3 one way clutch change krwaya hai..rear break fail hua..vo karaya and average bike h not very good not bad

2 Agar aap bike ko race doge to overheating hoga hi , ya phir oil cooling system me problem hoga, Kisi acche mechanic se dikhao kisi road chapp se nahi ..

It is not a regular bike used for commuting in local rides, it's designed for long tours, for milage please prefer 100 cc bikes

3 years with avenger 160, a good cruiser bike for daily usage with sofa like seats.
1. Parts of bike are always available on authorised bajaj service centres, I had minor part change 2 months back which was made available within a week with full check up & assurance that i can still run my bike till the servicing part came on centre.
2. Tyres are a different issue 😅, no two wheeler is sold without tyres to ride on road. Every two/four wheeler has different time period km for changing tyres. For avenger 160 it is 25,000 km.
150 street हैं मेरे पास 2017 से. कोई भी प्रॉब्लम नहीं हैं गाडी में. 50 -52 का माईलेज देती हैं. हाँ रुरल एरिया में सर्विसिंग कि दिक्कत आ सकती हैं लेकिन बडे शहर में कोई दिक्कत नहीं
Have Avenger 160 and ECU problem and new ECU costing 6-7k .....even in warranty they denied to replace with new one

Guys talking about hitting 117 on 220 cc. I have 2007 180 dtsi model. 120 is top speed. No vibration. Only problem is i got this bike from my elder bro. My bike has no fuel gauge. 😭

Mera abhi first service nahi huha but i got approx 53 kmpl. For 2.48 lit petrol 134 kms
Using Avengers 160 street, if i will compare this bike with triumph rocket 😂 my bike will anyday loose in comparisons, bajaj is pioneer in India and this bike is incomparable.

I have done 15 years avenger 200cc 3to 4 time clutch plate change,chanis pocket change wireing changed. But rest is good..
Suggestions.....
Keep tyer pressure 28 for both it will never skit.
Buy battery charger 4 to 6A 12v or replace battery every 3 to 4 years
Keep oiling on chain
Do not install back brake shu of plusar. bike
Put engene oil for 20w50 of 1.2liter not 1 liter...overheating solved

Bajaj bike ka har bakt service ka issue he. Service centre me bhi koi proper janne bala nehin milega. Behtar he unka gravience portal pe complaint karo.

Nehin koi problem to nehin he. Lekin kisi ache mechanic ko dikhao. Agar had se jyada heat hota he to baad me chalke engine problem dikhayega. Jese ki milage kam dega. Vibration jada hoga. Aapko utna satisfy nehin lagega.

Yani overheating 2/3 km me to head ko hath b nai lga sakte uski puri bhap aati hai apne face tak .. sab kar ke deka koi bola ki cahin problem to puri chain b cahnge ki koi bola oil pump problem wo be chack kiya..? Ab last ek kiya hu ki uske oil 900 ml he dala ta to kiya pta us se jyda hota honga to keunki uska 200 ml to uska jo oil cullent hai rediator usme chala jata hai baki engion me rha 700 ml to kiya pta us se b hota honga .. abi 1200 ml dalwaga abi dekta hu abi kus problem close hoti hai ya nai
Dekho ye mera avenger ke saath bhi ho raha tha. To mene isska head nikal ke, tapet adjust kiya tha. Phirbhi jesa wesa. No changes. Iska koi bhi solution nehin he. Ye baaj walon ka problem he. Service centre walon ko plantina ke alhawa koi dusri bike repair karna nehin ati he.
Mai avenger 150 use karra hun 6 saal se and im happy.

2013 से मैं एवेंजर 220 चला रहा हु. अभी तक क्रोम तक चमाचम कंडीशन में है ....क्योंकि मेन्टेनेन्स ,सर्विस वक्त से कराई है.
आप स्प्लेंडर या प्लैटिना लो.....आपकी माइलेज की प्रॉब्लम सॉल्व हो जाएगी.

This is not true.. I changed battery only once in last 7 years, I change tyres when completely scratched. I do ride in mountains only and this bike is a different feeling, lightweight easy to manoeuvre, comfortable so easy long hill rides good average and initial pickup suitable for hill rides.

1st point - space between mud guard and wheel (front wheel) is very low so it is very difficult to ride it in muddy roads as the mud gets stuck in the guard making the wheel unable to move.
2nd point - again the handle is not at all good for muddy roads at all. It's very hard to handle.
