- Just picked up the Yamaha EAD10 and I'm trying it out with this banger by Silent Planet. I'm using the Speed Metal preset straight up.

Thanks man!! I use the speed metal setting pretty much default. I think the trick is to make sure the mics are the correct volume and the trigger is at the perfect sens too. Cheers!

awesome cover! that ead10 is exactly what i've been looking for. are u considering a snare trigger in the future or is it not even that serious. it seems to pick up the kit really well! I'm sold.
Thanks man! I don’t feel the need to get a snare trigger as the bass drum mic alone picks it up super well.
Man are you using any trigger on your snare? Sounds great. Also how much level of mic do you have? Also how much on the trigger?
Hey man, no trigger on snare. I think I might have lowered the right side mic since my kit is heavier on that side, but I didn’t play with it much other than that.
So when doing a cover with the ead10 you have to pick a song and go through the app on ur phone rec n share right then start the recording from the app too? Im buying one so just wondering good cover too
I think it works that way with the app, but I don't use it. I'll plug the EAD10 in my laptop and use it as an audio interface. I can then record with my phone wherever instead of being limited to cable length. Either way it's pretty simple and it works great!
Were you using the kick trigger? I have a hard time getting the kick trigger to work without hitting really hard. Anything at higher speeds sounds awful. Maybe I have it set up incorrectly
I am and there's a way to change the sensitivity on the trigger from the module. Sounds like you should turn the sensitivity up on yours.
