There's something about this.. I just want to be there. I am looking for meaning in life and for some reason just exploring in a place like this would help me think. Don't get me wrong, this place is somewhat creepy, but at the same time so peaceful. It's like the love for horror games and media. Why do we love horror? The thrill and adrenaline it brings of course! This is a much more calm but daunting experience for the average joe. I find it interesting. Thanks for making this video.

Also, that hollow sound, I hear that through my A/C during big storms. Clearly that's not what the sound is but it could be the wind blowing through something metal. At first I thought it was a wolf but the sound is completely devoid of expression. Interesting. And definitely creepy.

Great ASMR feel. I, too, explore secluded natural areas around the edges of Portland, OR, usually in the very early (3:-5am) pre-dawn hours. Though I’ve encountered the very occasional inexplicable, and, seemingly, paranormal occurrence, my biggest hesitancy of my pre-dawn explorations are not ghosts, but the huge number of transients who make camp in these areas. I’ve stumbled across deranged homeless people running naked, or “asking” to use my my cell phone, and loud violent arguments 200’ away and I’d cut my flashlight to avoid being noticed. It’s the humans, not the ghosts, to be cautious of. Be careful.🙏
Two places you will NEVER find me walking alone at night (armed to the teeth or not); Any large forest in Oregon, or Northern California. Way too many people get “disappeared” there… plus the methheads and drug addicts who camp out there running from the law. And I’m not a small dude either and all my buds are all cops or military and they are like me as well… plop us anywhere in the Rockies or Appalachia… but Oregon in particular… hard pass 😂
Met a friend on the bus who back packed it like this through the woods in Europe. He’d hear eerie noises by a lynx, it looks like a bobcat, and at night, he’d have second thoughts about ghosts in the woods or forest or whatever tf is out there haha
Soo creepy yet calming (when I just listen and not watch🤣). Watching this in July and I'm in Texas we've been at least 98°F (36°C)🥵. Nice seeing and hearing snow crunch helps me feel cooler.😁

Live up in the WA Okanagan Highlands. Rather isolated with numerous abandoned homestead and cabins scattered about the forest. Took many a nighttime walk...even went into the structures. Many still have clothing, furniture, and more within. Outside of the wood rat's stinking up the place...nothing spooky!!! Damn if my wife and I haven't tried to find something scary!!
Its more a labyrinth than a forest. Feels like the era when 3D shooters like doom looked identically every corner and you had to draw a map in your to find through it.

One thing I really can't understand. Why do people go to the forest at night alone? Why? Is it really because of the thrill and if they see something or someone, they run for their life? I would never do that, not even at night. It's wise to go to the forest with a group of friends. Not alone. I understand,some people want to create the content but still.....it's not a good idea to put your life or well-being in danger.
If there’s no bears or wolves then there are no animals that cause dangers. Coyotes you can scare of with noise. Metal box with coins as rattlers or yelling. Carry a stick just in case, it also helps feeling the terrain. I think it’s safer going without a light; it’s remarkable how our eyes actually adjust to darkness. Why I do it? It’s beautiful!! It’s a different sensory experience; when you can rely primarily on sight, the feel of the ground, smells, sudden change of temperature and especially sounds are more intensely experienced and it is thrilling. Obviously, the animals a more active; that’s the whole point of it. You hear racoons fighting or hear an unknown animal being slaughtered. Lovely owl hootongs. Sometimes a shadowy thing runs across perhaps a deer or coyote. Probably the latter, they’re as quiet as ghosts when they walk. Only exception is when they’re walking on frozen, icy snow. The howling and yipping is beautiful. 2 legged creatures are potentially most dangerous. I am much safer at dark in the woods than in some other potentially populated place during daytime.

Well, i only heard one sound which was a kind of growl at the 28.30 ish mark but most of the other sounds were explainable as distant traffic, trains & train whistles & planes in the distant skies, wind howling through the trees. However id think it was more creepy if you were walking alone along the paths in reality. Id certainly take a large dog with me if i were walking in any wood or forest Its not animals id be afraid of but human ones Id like to know where this place was, Canada? Belgium ? France? I bet it would be a lovely walk in Springtime or Summer in daylight or early evening. I didnt find it spooky at all & maybe a tad too long, perhaps keep it to 20mins, it gets a little tedious especially with no commentary, not constant chit chat but the occasional word or to Thank you

I do agree with a comment you received, in that your video was real & had a certain stark beauty & sinister quality which did keep me watching till the end & no i wasnt expecting a Rougarou to jump out & bite your on the bum I hate all these sensationalist haunted videos, Haunted is an atmosphere, someone can have a haunted look or haunted eyes, it doesnt mean there are tiny ghosts peeping out between your eyelashes Although that image makes want to laugh Im a very strong empath & have felt peculiar in some places & its nothing visable or audible its something on a vibrational level as in sound waves that our bodies pick up. They are invisible & silent but our bodies pick up these waves & translate them into a physical sensation. That is very alarming & pretty scary However im rambling as per usual Dont give up, i feel you have something worth persuing thats just in the bud at the moment I think black & white film is also much more mood enhancing than colour I adore B & W photographs too even in our current time I used to do alot of b & w photography then " sepia" them & there was a lovely bygone echo to the subject with lovely tones & textures enhanced Good Luck & take a dog just to be safe if you venture into places nocturnally Btw, i think your country is exceedingly beautiful & as a cold weather person ( you have to be to live as i do on the English/Scottish borders in the middle of nowhere! ) I love snow & blizzards & hale & rain in torrents, i feel alive & can think The sun & heat makes me depleted & morose & dull minded So id love to live off grid in Alaska! about that far depends on the location I had to walk back that 30 min back so I try to keep that in mind

Yeah I heard so many things on that walk I'm glad my gopro caught all the sounds
Well, i only heard one sound which was a kind of growl at the
28.30 ish mark but most of the other sounds were explainable as distant traffic, trains & train whistles & planes in the distant skies, wind howling through the trees.
However id think it was more creepy if you were walking alone along the paths in reality.
Id certainly take a large dog with me if i were walking in any wood or forest
Its not animals id be afraid of but human ones
Id like to know where this place was, Canada? Belgium ? France?
I bet it would be a lovely walk in Springtime or Summer in daylight or early evening.
I didnt find it spooky at all & maybe a tad too long, perhaps keep it to 20mins, it gets a little tedious especially with no commentary, not constant chit chat but the occasional word or to

I do agree with a comment you received, in that your video was real & had a certain stark beauty & sinister quality which did keep me watching till the end & no i wasnt expecting a Rougarou to jump out & bite your on the bum
I hate all these sensationalist haunted videos,
Haunted is an atmosphere, someone can have a haunted look or haunted eyes, it doesnt mean there are tiny ghosts peeping out between your eyelashes
Although that image makes want to laugh
Im a very strong empath & have felt peculiar in some places & its nothing visable or audible its something on a vibrational level as in sound waves that our bodies pick up.
They are invisible & silent but our bodies pick up these waves & translate them into a physical sensation.
That is very alarming & pretty scary
However im rambling as per usual
Dont give up, i feel you have something worth persuing thats just in the bud at the moment
I think black & white film is also much more mood enhancing than colour
I adore B & W photographs too even in our current time
I used to do alot of b & w photography then " sepia" them & there was a lovely bygone echo to the subject with lovely tones & textures enhanced
Good Luck & take a dog just to be safe if you venture into places nocturnally
Btw, i think your country is exceedingly beautiful & as a cold weather person
