We start in the city center and will continue to more "green" parts of Berlin with nature and forest.

I like the fact that the video captured the reality of the bustle and hustle of driving around Berlin early evening trying to go home. Good job and enjoyed watching your video.
I come from a small town, driving in Berlin for the first time had me incredibly intimidated and frightened. A few more trips and now I feel way more comfortable. I like the city a lot now.
A spring or summer driving tour would be really good too. The city has a really different vibe when those trees grow their vivid green leaves. A winter looks grayish and a little bit depressive :)

I’m always amazed at how many of the pre-war structures have survived. Seems as though just like NYC, there is perpetual construction. Nice video. Hope to get to Germany one day.

This city was destroyed to the ground, thats was exactly what order said. Its part of mass murder of poles and extermination of Polish nation at all. I don't remember Germany suffering this.
@@dejowada I hate to break the news to you, but there were German cities that were heavily destroyed as well. Dresden, for example. This doesn't negate what happened to Warsaw, but you shouldn't think that somehow Warsaw was the only city that was leveled by bombing raids. I am fully aware of the atrocities that the Nazis committed against Poland, and throughout Europe.
Before you accuse me of having no idea of what I'm talking about, I suggest you check your attitude first.
@@gasaholic47 it doesn't "happened" to Warsaw, it was purely intentional. A NO Dresden didn't suffer as much as Warsaw and NO Dresden is not city crucial for german nation, german culture and german existence.
There is virtualy no any other city in the world which suffered such a damage from the germans, so you can actually shtfu. I don't know how you can even compare. If you have slightest doubts, please atleast check the wikipedia. Dresden is literally fraction of size of Warsaw and this fraction of size got fraction of size of damage in comparition. Basically if you want to compare, every Polish city was damaged atleast as much as Dresden, thats main point of blitzkrieg.
One more detail, reparation was never paid xD
I currently live in South America. This video soothes my soul. I miss Europe, where the concept of lane discipline does not exist (because either you can stay in your lane, or you shouldn't drive), where people use turn indicators, where people use their heads while driving. A warm kiss to all of the drivers in Buenos Aires - you are terrible and have got no clue how to drive.

Is it easy to find (free) parking near Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz in general? I am thinking of renting a car from the airport. Will be my 1st time driving in Germany or EU for that matter. Cheers from California.
You will find parking but mostly not free. By the way, I will travel to California in 2 weeks

@perseus274 people absolutely know 'how to build them', design them, etc. it's not more or less difficult. but, as you said, the only *real* barrier is the fact that soulless cosmopolitan boxes are far cheaper to build.

Just a quick question for someone who is living in Germany... Is it not normal to obey 30 km/h speed limit inside the city? Because I see a lot of people driving pretty fast although the speed limit signs are there. Also, will I get in trouble if I try to obey the speed limit? (For example impatient drivers trying to threaten you or honk)

I notice the German traffic lights do the same as the British traffic lights by preparing the driver for the green light by going red and green. Unlike American and French lights that just go straight to green.

@@ilqar887 Hongkong is just a mid sized city in China. If HK looks splendid to you with its 7 million residents then imagine megacities in the mainland with populations upwards of 10 million and going as high as 30 million.
