Didn't actually kill it myself, but one late evening many years ago my friend and I played some Magic the gathering. We had some lit candles it some snacks, was really nice. But there was this big, really annoying fly flying around us until suddenly, it flew straight down into a candle in the middle of the table, putting it out and instantly dying. We both witnessed it very clearly and instantly laughed our asses off. Just a black blob in the candle. Really absurd situation which I'll probably never forget.
I know this isn’t technically a fly but one time I was driving down a high way with my window down and a dragonfly flew through my window and smacked straight into the side of my head. It immediately split in half and died. It felt like I was hit by a paintball

Am I the only one interested in the question at the beginning? What games would you all play if you had to play just one game for the rest of your life? What has good replay-ability? For me, it would be a difficult pick between Xcom or Dark Souls, just because there is so much variance in how to play those games and a lot of enjoyment in second or twenty-fifth playthroughs for me, though I like strategy.

I know this was cruel and sadistic, and I'd never harm most animals, but this fly was really pissing me off for several hours by landing on my food when I was having dinner and buzzing around my computer monitor. I felt like Darth Sidous using force lightning on Luke. Oh, on a separate occasion I also filled a syringe with liquid Raid and injected a fly with increasing doses to see how long it could last.
The most brutal bug death I can think of - that I've bore witness too - was when a praying mantis ate a stink bug alive while resting on our screen door. It was gross but really interesting. And I don't like killing spooders either. Not even when one's in the shower.
As a kid I did that air freshener lighter flame thrower thang. Torched a fat bluebottle outta the air then fed the wingless squirming morsel to my pet spider I kept in a jar.
When I was a teenager, my families house was full of flies and spiders. The spiders mostly kept to the attic, apart from the one that was about 4 inches across that decided to run between my family and over my cousin's feet that my Mum caught in a colander because it was the closest thing to hand. But the flies during the summer were horrendous. My sister and I spent quite some time during the summer holidays swatting flies with rulers, but the one I'll always remember was the time I found two flies making the next generation of maggots. Stopped that from ever happening!
In high school one year we got competitive about killing flies by stabbing them with a pen which is extremely difficult. We got a couple each by the end of the year.
I mean, the 18% of viewers who aren't subscribed doesn't surprise me. For me, it's usually a 9-12 month period of subscribing to new channels. I'll watch a random video and say "yeah, that was pretty good" and then forget about the channel completely for 1-3 months. Then I'll finally get worn down by TH-cam incessantly recommending their videos to me, and gradually start watching more and more videos. Finally after a while, I'll realize that their videos are basically all I've been watching for the past few weeks and begrudgingly subscribe to the channel. Rinse and repeat.
