Yeah... I was actually disappointed that Leonidas was not this game... They could have made it that the main character would be immune to brawling block BS because of Leonidas is not a normal bakugan... So Leonidas and Our character are the only ones who can recover other Brawler's bakugan and fight the Vexos and Leonidas could also evolve again and maybe get a Maxus Leonidas too... Unfortunately the people that made this game is not very smart...
I played this on my Wii and 3ds, and it was totally awesome, if only we could play as the OG battle brawlers and bakugan too, also gundalian invaders and mechtanium surge
It was nice when bakugan back then were so simple to return into a ball compared to now and you didn't have to perform some hand signs to ball no jutsu the bakugans
are you guys talking about the new core bakugans, or the ultras? Because the core are way easier to return into ball, even easier than the originals, the ultras are harder to fold back
@@CurtiPeNET that’s kinda due to the Ultra’s having a more detailed and elaborate design. And Ultra’s now aren’t that hard to close, it was really only the season 1 bakugan of the reboot that were hard to close. They noticed that mistake so they made them easier to close later on
I remember struggling so much on the Drago fight after he was taken by Spectra since I hadnt use any of the other bakugans except Percival not knowing he had type disadvantage
... I miss Leonidas...I wished the game brought him and Marduk back. Gave Marduk a new Bakugan partner, this game was fun but felt a bit incomplete to me since we never had our own actual partner and just used everyone else's. 😓 Plus I just liked those characters.

For a single reason, Bakugan permissions and lawsuit of the brand is split on two the original japanese creators and Spinmaster as toy marketing brand... But after Metchanium surge things have changed Spinmaster after the end of Metchanium surge just sold the part of that brand to the original owners on Japan and they just end up the series... But before the Bakugan Reboot Spinmaster still has the name Bakugan but with the part that they sold there is everything toy related, original desings and symbols with it that's why the Bakugan Reboot just has the same names... Because that's something Spinmaster owns but all the rest is not that's why we got Leónidas because it was their original idea the name but the original desing is not just too similar to the original brand but the monster don't fits on the new series it was brought back on the new Aurelus Faction because again it's a way to dodge any possibility for demands... So neither of them can do something with the legacy series because they don't own all of it they just have pieces unless they want to make a Collab it won't work Sega could make something with Bakutech but, you really care that much about Bakutech?
Ahhh this game was my life back in elementury, I remember breaking my psp over it not once but twice also bought this game 3 times due to it breaking or getting lost over again. Glad I didn't have to grow up with the reboot bakugan or most of today's games
While I did quite enjoy this game when it did come out. My main issue comes from the fact that the character voices dont sound....right, I understand that they more than likely needed different voice actors for the characters but....they could have at least found people that could have sounded a bit more....closer to the character voices, only a few sound close or exactly like they should in the show. Then again this game came out after New Vestroia was completely done and I think Gundalian Invaders was already airing. Still a fun game honestly, wish it could get some kind of remake but given how long ago this game came out, I doubt it will get any kind of remake at all.

Bakugan Defenders of the Core game is great. But, unfortunately it doesn't put our (player) Omega Leonidas there. With all the attribute we could choose for him, like Bakugan Battle Brawlers game before. Omega Leonidas can be great partner for us player too there. 😊
Tbh is it just me or am I the only one that thought the game looked amazing the models were really good graphics to especially holds up even today easily i replay the game quite a bit I just wish we got to play through the actual story and with Leonidas as if we were a actual character not just a guy using other people bakugan clones
The reboot isn’t really bad. It’s definitely better than the latter season of the og bakugan. I do think they could benefit if they made a crossover between the og and new one

And it’s pretty obvious that the team behind the new game, ‘champions of vestroia’ severely limited because of the source material and the show’s new direction. But what I can’t agree on more is that it was announced at such a bad time, during the Nintendo treehouse event which drew in more hype than it needed. People outright hate this game because they were expecting bigger. It’s a good game, I’ve played much worse. But, the originals are greater.

So I kinda hope they make this Bakugan Legacy where the new Awesome Brawlers meet the old Battle Brawlers where they share experiences and how each world battles, they could make remakes of the og bakugan to be bought in stores. Then make a game like DotC where you can play as both the old and new bakugan. It’s very wishful thinking, but I can dream. I actually the new bakugan in terms of gameplay in its TCG as it’s has depth to it and without powercreep
