Full tour of Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center. Gaylord Texas resort is located in Grapevine, which is 30 minutes from Dallas, Texas. The hotel is a perfect place for a relaxing weekend getaway. Gaylord Texas Resort is over 15 years old; however, the vineyard tower has been a new addition. This time, we stayed in the vineyard tower and the room has a nice view of the front of the hotel and Grapevine Lake. The hotel has numerous activities especially for kids, including an escape room, chef’s camp, and animal encounters. There is a huge Atrium in the center of the hotel where most of the activities happen. The hotel has over 1800 rooms and numerous event spaces. The hotel also has a water park with a lazy river that is accessible to the guests.
