Thank you ma'am for this tutorial. Is there another name for the pad? I checked with stores that sell materials for fascinators but they seem not to know what it is. Is it the same as felt?
You are most welcome. It is called warden or interfacing. It’s the thickest softest one. you would find it in tailoring stores ( where they sell materials for tailors/seamstress). It is actually close to felt but more foamy
Wow! Thank you for the knowledge. It's a cheaper way. Instead of buying sinamay.
Thank you sis

Nice one. Can i use top bond in place of sniffer in making facinator using synamen?
Yes you can but if not mixed well doesn’t come out well so that’s why I prefer stiffener to top bond for sinamay
Thanks alot.

Nice video. Please I have a question. To make a velvet fascinator, must you pad it or can the velvet be used only without having to pad it first
Please which mateiral did you use under the pad is it princess mat, why do you use top bond cant stifner work on it
I used bridal satin. You can use stiffner, but I feel cos the pad takes too much hardner, the most affordable is top bond
Thanks for work, pls is it any kind of material one can use for the lining?
You are most welcome. You mean to put underneath the pad, sure, any material would do
When you say youse pad ,to get it what am I looking for, what did you put down first was that the maternal you as the front, thanks you, you are amazing l Margaret Redmond. From Ireland
Thanks Margaret, happy to have you here. Yes the first material placed on the mould/hat block is your bridal satin, taffeta or any material
At all but you place in with the front part on the hat block because that’s what you would see underneath. Then you please the pad or warden on top of that
Pls ma what's the difference between stiffner and top bond?
In moulding with pad can one use stiffner if top bond is not available?
They are both used for moulding dear just that I find top bond more economical to use for pad and stiffner better for great finishing for sinamay and any other I won’t be covering with material. So you can make use of whatever you have available and when you find more options, try them all out to see which works best for you
Very beautiful 👌🏼👍🏼
pls what kind of pad did u use? Is it d one they use for padding clothes? And can stiffiner be used, instead of the bonding clue u used
Thanks. Yes pad for clothes but the thickest one. Yes you can use stiffner
If you are not too sure, we can arrange for a yard for you and then you use that for future purchases
Thank you ma'am for this video...can I use stiffener in place of top Bond and get same results?
Can I use any type of fabric to cover, Like Ankara, velvet or sequence? Then what did you use with the interfacing? Thanks ma
sure you can use any material on top. Not sure i understood your second question
I have learn alot to day but I have some problem which l will be glad if you respond to can one use any other material to mund
Am happy you learnt. Sure there are different other materials that can be used to mould
Thanks so much ma for this video, I really learn a lots from you ma.
Please ma, what is the name of the fabric you used before worden to make the mould.
Also ma, please how does stiffner looks like, is it like UHU gum , B7000, glu gum and the rest.
You are most welcome dear. I used Tafetta then but best to use bridal satin or dull face or you could use same material you are using on the top. It’s not same as uhu gum dear, it’s a stiffener in the likes of Top bond
Please ma i can not get top bond in Amazon and I did no see a good stiffener i don't now if you have the link so you send for me thank you ma
God bless you
I haven’t gotten a link for that yet too as well. where exactly is your location?
Please what do use to create the mould I mean the one you are using to mould
I bought it dear that’s if you are referring to the wood that was shaped like a hat that I but the material on top
Thank you for this. Please what is the name of the shinning white material you used?
It’s called shine shine 😁😁😁 you know we Nigerians know how to give things names but that’s what it is here

Thank you very much ma'am
Please what's the name of the material used
Wow! So innovative! Can't the final fabric be moulded the same time with the pad?
Can top bond be used with paper mat or sinamey? Thanks so much! I'm a subbie and have learnt alot from your channel.
Thanks for your compliment and your subscription.
I used to mould the fabric with the pad initially but noticed it changes the shade of the material so I stopped and started using the method you watched.
Top bond can be used but sometimes it doesn’t come out well, so I stopped and use only stiffener for all other types of material.
Am happy you have learnt a lot from my channel

Pls ma, what's the name of that material that you used with the pad?
It’s called shine shine here but am sure name is different elsewhere but you can make use of any material of your choice
Thank you ma, can I use bridal satin in place of that material? Also this mould is different from the one you used in kids red hat right?
What is the pad called in the market
Here in the East in Nigeria is called padded but there are many types. It’s the thickest softest pad . I think it’s also used for Duvet
Please where do I get the items. I'm in Ghana
Hmm, online, I can courier to you as well or you can ask anyone who is into such if there is a market in Ghana where it’s sold
Plz ma what is name of that material
My dear, here they call it shine shine. Am sure it’s different in other states😁

Awww ok but I don't understand the word warding or interfacing.
pls is it stiff ?
What is Pad in french
I don’t know dear , I don’t think I should do direct translation because it might have a different name there
