Great video! I really do have a question. For someone with less than $10,000 to invest, how would you recommend we enter the crypto market? I am looking at studying some traders and copying their strategy rather than investing myself and losing money emotionally. What's your take on this approach?
Well...I will advise you should stop trading on your own if you keep losing and start trading with an expert because trading with an expert is the best strategy for newbie...

I like bitcoin and can stomach the volatility but there are no guarantees in life besides death and taxes. Going all in using 5x leverage is one possible way of going broke outside of becoming a drug addict.
I don't actually recommend 5x. But I think 1.5x is okay, especially if you have other liquid assets like stocks. The key is to understand most assets are "dead money," whereas they could be used as collateral. Put it to work. If you don't, the banks/brokerages usually lend it out themselves for yield.
totally insane leverage😜 We don't have a crystal ball to know the future, but the past performance of bitcoin wasn't great at all. How risky was it? As every investor knows, the most important characteristic of your portfolio is the Sharpe ratio, because you can always leverage or deleverage your portfolio. Bitcoin really was trading only for the last four+ years, after Covid everything went crazy, before that it was inefficient due to meager volume. During this time period bitcoin had Sharpe ratio in the range of -2 to +2. How good is it? In comparison, Nasdaq-100 for the same period had Sharpe in the range -1 to +3. So Nasdaq presented much better RR, but it would be insane leveraging even Nasdaq.

As far as I understand it, converting to wrapped BTC is a taxable event. Something to be aware of. Part of the appeal of bitcoin backed loans, if they're structured right, is that they're more tax efficient than selling bitcoin b/c the borrow rate is less than capital gains. Lose the tax efficiency if posting the collateral is a taxable event.
When you convert USDC to fiat you’ll pay capital gains. Also, because you’re leveraging your BTC you’ll get liquidated in the event of a crash and lose your collateral (BTC)

I like the thought. Now we have a way to act like Michael Saylor. Get a loan, buy more Bitcoin. Max out your credit cards too. My bank will give me a loan for 10K at 3%. So I'll take that and make it work. I'm also going to stand on the street corner, with a sign, "Will work for Bitcoin".
Why we all acting like the world isn’t ran by digital money already? Cash is barely used u pay bills via digital you get groceries via digital and send money digitally. The economy is already ran digitally so a internet outage wouldn’t only affect Bitcoin it would affect the whole economy.
It can handle an Internet outage. ISPs and their tunnels can fail. There are alternative pipes (star link and Lora come to mind) What it cannot handle is a power outage.
To stop bitcoin all countries must agree to collectively switch off every electricity grid and internet on the planet forever. If that is the case it would destroy every business, data-centre, disrupt car/airplane/train travel, stop hospitals operating, access to banking, mobile tech destroyed, etc. Even then, you won't stop bitcoin, as the network remains dormant and all it takes is one node to have internet access and electricity for it to pick up where it left off. Decentralized protocols are more robust than people give it credit.

The process of trading can be complicated when you have limited knowledge. However, with the right strategy and setups, you can be successful. That's the whole point of investing.
In the stock market, certain institutions can borrow shares out of thin air and sell them to drive the price down. That facility is unavailable to would-be sellers of base layer BTC.
There is no need for trading and leverage in Bitcoin. Save small amounts with the DCA strategy. Forget about the lines, tops and bottoms. And just store it in a cold wallet. Learn what self-custody is.

Bitcoin could drop 50-80% just as easily as it could go up, it is 100% based on sentiment. At least companies like NVidia actually make stuff that people/companies want to buy
Not likely... ETFs and options add massive liquidity to stabilize price. We won't see such drawdowns again. The only fundamental is hashrate, which is near all time highs. supercycle.
I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $45k - $50k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year
i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations

What's kept me out of trouble so far has been avoiding nascent/experimental technology and lending infrastructure. I know it feels smart to start rebuilding traditional banking on crypto rails, but in reality, you wouldn't buy a brand new car model just because it's flashy. Better to wait a while until that model has had all the recalls and kinks ironed out. Jumping straight into brand new technology is how people got wrapped up with FTX, Ethereum, etc. Most trash looks real sophisticated at first. Rehypothecation is extremely risky and should not be promoted imo. Debt itself is antithetical to the entire Bitcoin mission.

This is why DeFi coins like Aero , Morpho , ALB , Raydium , Jupiter , Moon , are going to be very valuable in the future. Because DeFi unlocks the potential of BTC and other coins.
It’s important to remember Michael Saylor’s company’s debt isn’t marked to market. They can’t get liquidate in a flash crash but with all the techniques described in this video you definitely can get liquidated. A 64% pullback isn’t unusual for Bitcoin.
Don’t do it at these price though. BTC is pretty much sitting at 2 and 3 standard deviations above two year mean. Just be patient. This is not a Bollywood movie where it goes to the moon without corrections and retracements. Stop fomoing and buying breakout on margin. Patience pays just let your money sit until an opportunity presents itself. Equivalent of buying the 60-65k peaks around 21 instead of being patient and tripling your bags by adding the lump sum on corrections.
Borrowing in Bitcoin terms or fiat terms- if the latter it makes sense to borrow depreciating fiat against macro appreciating Bitcoin, for 5% if Bitcoin goes up 50% pa you’re overall up 45% in real terms- and can use the loan as tax free income
Nice video. Not a criticism, I enjoy your insights. I tend to think prices could go higher if XAI505K rockets. But understand the logic for sandbagging estimates. My opinion is XAI505K breaks 1, perhaps reaches 10 ATH, if conditions are right. But broader forces are at play now. We’re moving into really unknown territory. And these entities are shrewd. I think there’s massive manipulation ahead. If XAI505K survives that, well, we’re likely in for a good pump.
Bitcoin yield is great, but it only works if you have fiat money as income to pay back that loan. And if you have fiat money as income, why not just live off the fiat and save the btc?
This is serious bad advice financially. You should at max only put 100% of your money on it and not play with margin unless you know what you are doing. This requires years working in the financial sector. The majority of people who play with margin ends up losing everything.
*I put my whole $401k in the stock market on Dec 28th 2023. At the end of 2024 i was up to $165k. I used to have everything split up , diversified per the experts and the best year I had $60k gain in a year twice*

Not bad, I got 25k at 4% a couple years ago. Worked out very well for me.
It would be interesting to know how resilient Bitcoin is against a major internet outage.
same risk as credit card and all other payment methods. Cash wouldnt even work as the cashier tills are out as well.
There are alternative pipes (star link and Lora come to mind)
What it cannot handle is a power outage.
@@pluto8404 cash would still work. you can make a paper ledger from a fkn notepad and add it all in once the power's back. Cash is king
The best vid yet on explaining crypto and associated markets. This from a trading intraday and short-medium or long term point of view. Was impressed that you showed the market cycle. Also the way you explained it. Regardless if it is stocks, currency, precious metals or real estate, crypto, that is being invested in, there is a cycle. As now crypto is a confirmed asset class, You already have taught me so much. Appreciate your time and effort in making the vid. ...I managed to grow a nest egg of around 3Btc’s to a decent 21Btc’s…At the heart of this evolution is Francine Duguay, whose deep understanding of both cryptocurrency and traditional trading has been instrumental. Got a chance to benefit from her services a few weeks ago and it has been a very smooth experience.
Thank you…. I have searched her up Google I think I am satisfied with her experience.
Best signal provider in the market. Knowledgeable, level headed no loss like some other traders who recently jumped on the bandwagon
The fact that i got to learn and earn from her program is everything to me think about it, it's a win win for both ways
Bitcoin will be the new yen carry trade imo.
Do not worry about the price with bitcoin. The hash rate is more significant
Thanks for sharing your insight (as a millionaire)
The problem is Bitcoin has never been through a real economic recession or depression. It will just go down harder than the stock market.
And then rise back up. Your point?
In the stock market, certain institutions can borrow shares out of thin air and sell them to drive the price down. That facility is unavailable to would-be sellers of base layer BTC.
Covid ? Most people haven't been through a recession or depression as adults.
We just been through a recession, the government just moved the goal post to hide this fact.
@@amitchawla5124 we don't know that
There is no need for trading and leverage in Bitcoin. Save small amounts with the DCA strategy. Forget about the lines, tops and bottoms. And just store it in a cold wallet. Learn what self-custody is.
8:27 bitcoin is not a hard asset
Yes it is. Get over it
Bitcoin is the hardest asset. Harder than Gold. As there is more gold being extracted from earth every year and there is no limit on the gold supply.
if bitcoin is not hard, why are my keys on a HARD drive? Explain that athiests

I Hit $32,590 today. Thank you for all the knowledge and nuggets you had thrown my way over the last week i started with 5k in last week 2024.... now i just hit $32,590. thanks to Jennifer Lorelle Robert's for helping me achieve this
I'm celebrating £32K stock portfolio today... Started this journey with £3K.... I've invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family and life ahead of me.
The very first time we tried, we invested $2000 and after a week, we received $9500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

Bitcoin could drop 50-80% just as easily as it could go up, it is 100% based on sentiment. At least companies like NVidia actually make stuff that people/companies want to buy
Not likely... ETFs and options add massive liquidity to stabilize price. We won't see such drawdowns again. The only fundamental is hashrate, which is near all time highs. supercycle.
People actually use Bitcoin for their financial services, can’t say the same about nvidia stock.
Everyone needs a long term store of value. Name 1 thing better?

I'm admittedly bummed that I didn't go with my gut instinct & buy bitcoin few months back when it was $45k - $50k range. is it too late to get in and make profits? i have set aside $450k to get fully invested this year
i don't think it is. Once bitcoin crosses it's all time high, it becomes the new bottom. Anything under 69k is a good buy. It's still advisable to work with a fiduciary advisor instead of relying solely on speculations
The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $1million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

Never use leverage, BTC is too volatile, wipe out at 65% drop..that's still a possibility.
Hit $12k today trading. Started last month 2024. Financial education is essential for over 70% of the population, as only a few are truly literate in this area. Thanks to Katherine Stewart for helping me achieve this.

Just not clear to me if swapping your btc will end up being a taxable event...
I would correct TechLead here. Money is not work, Money is a leverage on work. The more money, the more gains you make for any decision/work.
What exchange would u recommend to purchase bitcoin?
Thx, hope you make more videos on this subject !
Why not buy Mstr, aren’t Michael Saylor is all about btc yield?
Techlead is the wolf in sheep's clothing.
This wolf told me to buy bitcoin, I don't mind him
This is why DeFi coins like Aero , Morpho , ALB , Raydium , Jupiter , Moon , are going to be very valuable in the future. Because DeFi unlocks the potential of BTC and other coins.

It's financial engineering. You can't work as an engineer forever.
@@TechLead lol your trolling grift is next level keep it up !
It’s important to remember Michael Saylor’s company’s debt isn’t marked to market. They can’t get liquidate in a flash crash but with all the techniques described in this video you definitely can get liquidated. A 64% pullback isn’t unusual for Bitcoin.
So it's like AAVE...get a liquidation price? Borrowing up to 86% of your BTC is insane. AAVE the ratio is much less.
Love your analysis keep it coming! Hopefully we can cross paths and meet
Why invest in Adaxum? Simple: cutting-edge technology, real-world use cases, and massive growth potential.
Just in time!!
if you’re saying one should 5x leverage into btc, isn’t buying MSTR the same thing almost but around 4x
It's more like 2x
Borrowing in Bitcoin terms or fiat terms- if the latter it makes sense to borrow depreciating fiat against macro appreciating Bitcoin, for 5% if Bitcoin goes up 50% pa you’re overall up 45% in real terms- and can use the loan as tax free income
Here he is! TH-cam’s greatest villain is back!
talk about alt coins? How these various platforms are actually real time and functional?
Just go all in
So what happens when BTC experience a market crash and drops 80% while these loans are active? I can only conclude your BTC is liquidated.
And if you have fiat money as income, why not just live off the fiat and save the btc?
nah you never pay back the loan.
@@TechLead Sorry but I don't understand why we never pay the loan back? Can you explain more?

This is serious bad advice financially. You should at max only put 100% of your money on it and not play with margin unless you know what you are doing. This requires years working in the financial sector. The majority of people who play with margin ends up losing everything.
Isn't the conversion to wrapped BTC, a taxable event - making this product a complete failure ?

Wow I know Iris freld. Her platform maintains a unique perspective and is very transparent with their investors. Regardless of whether or not she outperforms. I will forever stay invested!
I think this is terrible advice, to borrow against an extremely volatile asset that experiences 80%+ declines regularly. Especially now that we are nearing the top of the bull market. A lot of people are going to lose a lot of money. This is irresponsible advice.

1,buy low
