I witness decent Humans every time I go outside as the majority of people are. Social media distorts this view as scummy people rack up more clicks.
@@johnberwyn23 whilst i agree that social media can distort views, working in retail shows that 99.9% of people are rude, you cannot change my mind. i deal with the public every day and they are awful, there are some gems out there though.
@@catzfive Been there my friend. For some reason, retail customers can be really shitty, it has a way of bringing out the entitled who love the drama. Still a distorted view of normal behaviour though.
@@catzfiveI’ve worked customer care and retail for over 15 yrs. 😂 last 7 being straight call center. Most people become upset when they feel wronged , you could of met someone on a bad day and think they are the worst human in the world and see them again not even realizing it’s them bc the persona is different. I agree social media pushes a narrative there are no decent folks but I also see them everyday. ❤

The fact most people don't even think about a small bottle being an issue is quite unnerving. Thank you to the kind lady who stepped up and took charge in a respectful way.
I am an American, but have been taught from a young age by my church to behave properly and respectfully. I am happy and quite proud to see another tourist behave in a proper and respective manner.

@wiktor8764 actually a good church will teach you respect, humility, kindness to all, and much more. Part of teaching in a church is to treat others in the same way Jesus would treat them. If the church is a good one, they teach respect, kindness, true love for everyone regardless of race, nationality, gender, etc, because that is how Jesus taught.
Also, I don't understand why you felt the need to poke at what the commenter clearly believes in. Their beliefs do you no harm, if anything it makes the world better when you are teaching kindness and empathy for allm

That's okay not everyone has known the love or the peace of Christ for one reason or another. I pray for them that they will feel his love somehow. Not everyone that walks by or takes pics is a tourist. Some people are just from nearby London. I don't think of myself as a tourist when I visit a nearby city that I visit often in my country.

There could have been something very harmful in that bottle. Similar to when a couple of people left their remains of a sack lunch (i believe) in a brown bag by the Trooper near the arches. That could have contained anything, as well.
This lady was very selfless - which makes her an angel in my book.

This is one of those things I love so much about England there's always that form of respect that cannot be measured and this lady clearly proved it
Thank God she stepped in! I would have done the same. It would drive me nuts seeing that lying there under the horse's feet! I also would have scooted it further away and found a way to dispose of it. (Maybe get a guard's help just to be safe?)
I think she goes to find a police officer just in case it's anything untoward

@@terramarini6880 vape juice bottles are plastic as you need to squeeze them to get the juice out. I guess it was something else. Either way best moved away from the horses feet.
Very nice of her and she wasn't trying to appear threatening and kept her hands off both the guard and the horse.

Long as no one touches the horse, visitors should be fine. It was super nice. I am sure the Royal Guard was pleased.
You are allowed to pet the horses, you are not allowed to touch the tack, (reins, bridle)
And hopefully, the horse doesn't grab you.

It looked to be a small glass bottle. If you have ever seen what broken glass does to bare feet, then you can imagine what it would do to the frog of a horse's foot.

It's in between Downing street and Trafalgar square, so about as busy with tourists as London gets! They are incredible horses, and riders. There was a hick-up last week were a couple of them spooked, all are okay, but thats the first time in my 40 years that I've ever heard of anything happening with them.
To add, there's been a lot of provocation towards them from the Palestinian protestors, and its a regular thing from people that have moved to our homeland, despite obviously hating us, as they're a symbol of the crown and our success. You realise why horses were utilised in battle for so many centuries, these horses are not show ponies people back down very quickly when the horse and rider decide it's time to show them whose boss!

Don’t know what it was, but being at the front, and not the rear of the horse, no worries that she’d be stepping on manure.
It looked flat, rectangular and metallic.
Loved that. The guard may not have known it was there and a hoof on it could have been dangerous for everyone. The guard now knew, and could have someone check it out.

Love the royal guard. Got to see several and duty change when I was there in highschool. Grew up w horses and military. So naturally I was comfortable around them. I broke out crying the first time. The horse actually comforted me. The guard allowed me to give him a big kiss. The horse that is. We were invited later to the royal stables. I got to see him again and a few others who came off guard. He knew exactly who I was. Loved it. Best thing ever. Hope I get to bring my daughter some day. Don’t know if we’ll get to do similiar. I was with my class trip for that. Hopefully we can. They are so majestic and beautiful!!

Even worse, a glass bottle doesn't end up there by chance. So someone must have deliberately placed it in front of the horse's hooves, for example through his trouser leg. How sick can you be...

I always feel sorry for these horses because, contrary to their nature, they are forced to stand still for many hours. The horse's nature is to parade through the steppes and gallop. But this horse must stand like a lifeless statue to please the rich snobs who in their vanity show their superiority over the rest of the world. This is a crime against nature.
