Sandpaper around a wooden dowel for fillet sanding. Tape on each side of the fillet to protect the fin and body tube while sanding. REPAIRS BEFORE MAIDEN ALWAYS SUCKS!!!! Good video. Practice makes perfect
Proline... Everytime... for my fillets. And I've never had an issue with it. I've thrown a rocket against a concrete wall before, just to prove a point about Proline lol.
If you go back on this channel there's a video of me hitting my 4" Punisher fin with a mallet and then standing on it on the concrete with fillets made with WS. Proline would have cracked in this scenario, too, just because of the situation. My cousin's Formula 75 popped two proline 4500 fillets on landing last year, too.
@@RocketVlogs oh yea?? Idk then, maybe it’s just luck. Speaking of Formula 75s, flew mine at Jean last month. It landed on the fin tip… and the fin cracked instead of the fillets. Maybe it’s the way I build. I leave the back cr off and do both fillets on the motor tube and the inside of the body, plus the external fillets. 6 fillets per fin.
