I personally think fanstoys looks more heroic for the proportions, but I can never deny the articulation that takara gives their figures with the butterfly joints, ab-crunch,full run at the elbows with a single hinge,and those feet are crazy 🔥(they basically have all the articulation of a human which is amazing),keep up the videos...still w8n on that articulation video 👍
The Fanstoys looks more heroic I absolutely agree but trailbreaker is not that heroic in my opinion as a character. The Fanstoys is beautiful but I don’t see trailbreaker as an Arnold - in my opinion

Which is interesting considering that just about every toy of Trailbreaker and Hoist that came before MP56 Trailbreaker all had the truck front end sitting straight down in robot mode. While all along, said previous toys have been doing it wrong, just because the animation model has that sitting at an angle.😮😳🤯 And the KO is up for preorder already? They still ain't even got the MP44 trailer KO out yet...what they doin'!?

I find Takara sacrifices sculpt for articulation. I will take a bit less articulation for a more heroic, cleaner sculpt, any day. Thanks for the video.
You're video made me order the Takara and put my FT up for sale. Every other video I had seen to now made me think otherwise, but you convinced me as I am a full toon guy. I also have the MMC head which does look better, I agree. How exactly did you adjust it to make it fit on the official?

@@toysatthetable9826 "technically" MP-21G fulfills that Gold Bug itch, but I too am surprised Takara didn't do a Hubcap off of that mold along with make a Cliff Jumper already, seems like that would've been a no-brainer for ease of repurposing that mold. 🤷🏻♂
I like my Takara but their facesculpts in the MP line are hit or miss. They seemed to be consistently plagued by making the faces too long or or too narrow. FTs typically nail the faces
Your WRONG!!!!! Just joking…I do prefer FT version of him. However I get it…TT Hound has the “right” look over FT version. Something about FT Hound makes him look like a stunt double (I forgot where I heard that joke).
Love ur passion but totally disagree. The fanstoys version is my MP trailbreaker. I get it, it’s totally subjective. I often disagree with your opinions but i like your videos cause of your energy and love for the hobby. Thank u!

I would get the takara version too as the accessories, truck mode and official brand make it attractive but the bot mode looks too goofy and cheap to me. Fanstoys looks and feels premium, how I think a MP should be.
As someone who didn't grow up with the toon, I think some of the designs are ridiculous, and I personally don't follow the straight toon look to a tee. That being said, I think that figures should embrace some of that ridiculousness, and as such, I've never really liked FT's Trailbreaker for the exact same reasons as you: he shouldn't have the legs of an athlete.
Well I think of the autobots as the average joes every day guys and from the comics the deceptions are the military so they are all very much more proportions of an army being that they transform into weapons. The autobots - some are fat like seaspray and cosmos - some are skinny like trailbreaker “ he’s not built for speed but he is tough” but not the strongest either. I think the Fanstoys is beautiful but built like Arnold and that’s fine for some but just not me so we agree
@@coris3436 I happily throw figures that are IDW, old MP, etc., just to mix stuff up. Some diversity is nice. I do try to make my collection as a whole cohesive, but not overly so.
