Been listening to Megadeth on and off for years. From back when they were getting by with the covers, right the way to now. The last 2/3 years they have really grown on me.....awesome band.....not keen on this video cutting out though......
Me too! I had to Megadeth albums but I should've gotten into them a lot more than Metallica. I don't hate them of course, but Megadeth's much better. That said I'm glad Metallica is Thrash again as of 2008. I took a break due to St. Anger. The Metallica type of thrash I think is done to be a bit more commercialized and has lots of hooks which is instant ear worm for me. That said Mustaine proved he could do catchy hooks too but chose thrash over commercial sound. I mean on a thrash album you can get away with ballads at times. Maybe one or two but get back to basics with the rest of the album.
