I was hoping this would change my mind. I like the players perspective and the playfield looks much better that way than the top down did on the live stream. However the sounds just drive me nuts. I had to turn off the live stream because of them and this just didn't change that. I feel like I'm on the backlot tour of Universal Studios and they are showing me the foley stage where they put all the sound effects together and then they play all the possible sound effects at the same time. I hear no coherent music package that should be the over arching sound experience and the sound effects should be secondary.

Is there an option to turn off the background music? Because it really makes for a mess of jumbled sound and confusing/annoying when the targets and such are being activated with their sounds on top of it.
Looks very smooth and satisfying to shoot. Not my dream theme though and wished for a little more theme integration. Maybe an upper PF so that you could really tour the factory. But still a nice layout. And you seem to acually use all four flippers not just the right one out of 3 - I'm looking at you BKSOR.... Also wished there was more diversity in the Songs for the Modes. In the Live Stream all sounded the same. Still not as annoying as BKSOR.

This game looks better the more I watch. The code and light show are great now and will only improve. Movie clips with actors, Gene Wilder call outs. Complainers will always find something to complain about. I’d almost trade WOZ for this.

Seems over hyped to me, nothing incredibly amazing like pinside was saying it would be. I should add that I was blown away by the pirates reveal so this may just be the theme not working for me.
Honestly, the hype on this was impossible to live up to. All in all, it looks like a solid, fun game with a ton of features. I'm excited to flip it. Hope the software is interesting. Congrats on another fine looking game by JJP.

I agree....that boat song along is super annoying. Can you imagine hearing 2-3 of the same machine going at the same time? Good lord.

One of the most fun games I've ever played I skipped out on gambling and just played jersey Mike's willy Wonka for about 4 hours.
What a great theme. And Jack knocked it out of the park as usual.

Disappointed........Damn shame Stern didn't get this title. No telling what stupid ass high price jjp will put on this. It's one I really wanted too.
Base model is $7500. $1000 less than Pirates, pretty much same price as Stern Premium.
