When you were talking about making a road around the bank and back, I kept looking at the grade and wondered " How in the *ell is he going to get a truck around that grade down toward the stream ? Then I watched as you were cutting the road. You went deeper on the right than you did the left side and used some of the dirt from the right to raise the left side and level the whole thing out.... That was slick!

it all has to be done at the design stages before even permits are issued. Like when a new building is put up in big cities they have to include underground parking or no permit. But who cares as long as they keep making these ponds like this the company will gladly come in and fix it LOL.

    • @Skorpychan

We use crushed concrete to build all our roads. If you can get the moisture down into the material while you're laying it down before you start compacting it makes a huge difference. Same with letting it dry completely. Only problem with it is the dust contains silica and that's not good for the lungs.

Edit: Now that I've watched the rest of this episode of "Rock, Rock, Rock" I'm convinced they didn't simply spill some rock by the side when they where making the splash pad area. That whole slope must have been done in rock at first and then they came back later and wanted it to be pretty so they dumped a bunch of top soil on it so they could plant grass rather than remove the rock first.
