This is late but THANK U. It bugs me how just bcuz times passed people (especially Brendan's teen fans that could care less about P!ATDs 1st 2 albums & think his solo music is better) think he wrote every album & are completely unaware of the genius of Ryan Ross writing & musical talent/capabilities & how he was the founder/ frontman/leader of the band for 5 years & was the 1 who named the songs, & clearly cared so much about the art aspect of it vs. #s & fame which is all that exuds from Urie since 2009.

Cinnamon, Back in 2006 there were four members: Brendon, Joe, Ryan, and Spencer. After making two albums, Ryan and Joe decided they wanted to leave and make a different type of music (they didnt succeed though and abandoned the project.) then after their third album, Vice and Virtues (2008) Spencer leaves. To this day, I haven’t seen Ryan and Brendon really talk to each other. I know Ryan has been to concerts and even his broadway performance to support but Brendon hasn’t really acknowledged him. Brendon and Spencer still talk and have even interacted on social media. Joe, I don’t know. Hes tried interacting with Brendon but failed. Now Ryden... so Brendon and Ryan were rumored to have a supposed romance. Some even think he left the band due to it. On some of their old performances, they even acted a bit flirty on stage. They were always so close when performing. Of course they’ve denied these rumors but even it became an ever bigger one when Brendon came out and said he’s always been attracted to both men and women. Fans nowadays (especially young ones) still make it seem as if it were true. It fucking sucks because Brendon fucking HATES these rumors. It makes him uncomfortable. They can’t understand that and it sucks for him:(

LovelyJazly246 there are lots of reasons such as the fact that he can't really play any of the songs @ concerts and those songs have a lot of meaning but most people believe that it's because ryan left the band after that album was released :/ its such a lovely and underrated album though

Plus when you meet people like him you find out that they're just normal people like you and me, they just happen to make a living in one of the coolest ways possible. Most of the celebrities I've met have all been really normal people, with only a couple exceptions.

It's called "Mondegreen" a word or phrase that results from a mishearing of a poem or a song. It happens when the listener is unable to clearly hear a lyric, substitutes words that sound similar and make some kind of sense of it. Also "close the goddamn door" is actually very common phrase to say or hear when someone is frustrated with someone not closing the door, especially from parents. So the lyric is stating the common used phrase and rewording it. So not so sure its the Mandela Effect, but who knows.
