Hi Grant, Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Yes it is a good van. I did like the space of mid washroom but as I say it made it harder to get up and down the van. Maybe across the van version may work ok as well.
Lovely looking van, very light and airy with that big window. Our first van was a Bailey, great finish. Only just found your channel, subscribed & we’ll look forward to playing catch up. Cheers Dave & Helen 👍
Thanks for the sub that s great. Yeah the van is super light and airy. I really like Swift vans but the fixed beds we looked at were a bit dark as they cut out alot of the roof lights, no door window and windows were generally smaller.
I've not long bought the Bailey Phoenix 760 and have to say I'm massively impressed how well Bailey twins pull over my previous van. I've always had a twin as they're more stable plus less to panic over if you get a flat on the motorway.
Thanks for the comment Ian. Yes really looking forward to using it. Similar to other layouts we had but just different enough to make it NEW. Can't wait to get out but struggling to see when.
Great looking caravan! Love how light and airy it is... good use of space with plenty of storage. Decor is really nice. Looks the perfect choice 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Michelle and Andy 😃😃
Thanks for the comment you two. I think you are spot on. It is a really light caravan nice big windows. Lots of roof lights and light wood. II think it's a really good looking van inside and out. Looking forward to trying it out when we are allowed.
Congratulations on the new van Paul. We are currently in the market for our first family van & this is 1 We have our eyes on. Such a mind field with all the different vans from different manufacturers.
Nice choice, and looks ideal for a family of 5. We made the jump to a twin axle 2 years ago and for us it was a great decision. I can highly recommend a lock-n-level for a T/A especially if you use CL's like we do.
Thanks for the comment. Yeah the twin gives us that bit more length so fits in the bigger fridge. We haven't bough a lock and level as seems a lot at 200 quid. Got some different levelling ramps that look ideal for twins.
We have a Pegasus Palermo GT70 at the moment and have found it very homely. We love the kitchen area - as you say it is quite roomy in the middle near the door so no one gets in the way. The cupboard near the door is like a tardis - you just keep putting more and more in. We sadly say goodbye to ours in a week as we have bought another Bailey. Hope you have many years fun in it.
Thanks for the comment B Bud2. Yes I think the middle area is what made us want it. With 5 of us it was often a squeeze down the middle of the van. What van have you gone for next? Hope when you get the van that you are able to get away soon enough,
@@RollingwithTheRobsons we have gone for the Pegasus Grande SE Bologna. It will be out 3rd Pegasus. Saying goodbye to our Palermo this week 😢. Booked for Easter at a site. Had to cancel last Easter, so fingers crossed this time.
We changed from swift charisma 4 berth fixed bed to a Abbey cardinal twin axel 6 berth fixed bunks last year for number of reasons, firstly we found the fixed bed took up to much space leaving no walking area in the van, secondly with two boys under 5 years old we found we had no where to sit once we put them to bed on the front seats meaning we had to sit on our bed. Your caravan looks amazing.
Yes the fixed beds do take up quite a bit of room. I think the only option that would have worked out for us would be an 8ft van but the cost would have stopped other opportunities and adventures really so wasn't for us. Yes again we thought about how girls would cope in a fixed bed van. They would probably have stole it during the day. Our oldest loves a duvet day.
Bet you're looking forward to getting away in your new van Paul? When you turned around @ 4 min looking from the bathroom it appears a long way to the front window. Thanks for the tour. All the best. Rob
Thanks for the comment. Fingers crossed it's the perfect fit it should be while the girls are still growing a bit. Just need Maisie to stop getting taller.
Thanks for the comment Martin. Yeah it's quite spacious given that it's a little bit narrower than last van. I think all the windows and skylights make it to be fair.
That sounds like an idea for a video. Will add that to the list. I think in that van very easy to go over max weight due to the amount of storage available.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment, it's appreciated. Yes fingers crossed we can get out in the van. Only got one booking and that is Easter so far so fingers crossed.
Thanks for the comment James. If anyone doesn't know James is a caravan engineer up in the North East a great guy. Only used it twice so far, I see what you mean about turning. Hopefully get a chance to get used to it later on this year.
I like the kitchen area. The Mrs doesn't like the idea of a rear washroom as she thinks we would disturb the kids passing through to use the facilities. I'd like a fixed bed option as I get fed up of having to make our bed up all the time. We really like the mid washroom layout such as the Bailey Unicorn Segovia, as we also think it would be better in an evening when we're watching telly. Nice van though, and one that I would consider 👍🏻
Thanks for the comment Tom. Yes you make a good point about toilet at back. To be fair if on site I often use those apart from middle of the night. I really like the Segovia but still talking 20 to 21K at present. We really like the 630 conq but still 22K used so went for something with more reasonable price tag.
Thanks for the reply. Yes I would love something more expensive however we believe on spending the money on things for the kids in terms of experiences.
We think this is the better ‘van for your current circumstances, you have the young family, soon enough they will grow up and not want to go with you, then is the time for the FB ‘van. We like our Baileys so biased for this manufacturer too. We hope you enjoy the ‘van for a few years to come.
Thanks for the comment. Yes you are right. I think other vans had too many compromises at present. Only the 8ft would probably have footed the bill but trying to keep the debt down at present.
😃Beautiful looking van, love how much light is let in👍👍🇦🇺
Thanks Girls for the comment. Yes it's an extremly light and airy van. I found other UK manufacturers seem a bit darker than that.
Really nice looking Van and the layout is superb for a family especially love the end bathroom - A Great choice

Nice video Paul 👍, looks a good van with plenty of space for you and the family & hopefully we can all get away soon to enjoy our vans😎
Thanks for the comment Steve. Yeah hopefully we can get away in the nearish future. Got a CL booked for Easter but nothing else at present.

The 760 looks like a great van. It was a bit out of our price range at present I fancied a Segovia but that was way out of our price range.
Nice van... great family layout that Paul. Something to look forward to when we get out of this pandemic.

Thanks for the comment Lee. I really like the Palermo as it's very airy. If you can afford it a 2018 has a few extra features on.
Nice choice, and looks ideal for a family of 5.

Looks lovely and a good choice. Since we have the three children will be 5 berths of 6 berths for near future I would suspect.

Thanks Colin. Yes we hope so soon so that we can try it all out fully for a weekend or so.

Yea it’s a little walk from the front to the toilet. Even worse I suspect in a night time 😂
Looks a perfect fit for you guys, best wishes for fabulous adventures as soon as we can all get out again. Becky

Looks a nice spacious van Paul, Looking forward to seeing it in use sometime.

Nice looking van! Hope it enables you to continue your adventures and have some great family times!
Thanks for the comment. Chopping at the bit to get away and try it out a bit more.
I'd like too see inside the cupboards for storage capacity. Congratulations on your purchase 👏
That sounds like an idea for a video. Will add that to the list. I think in that van very easy to go over max weight due to the amount of storage available.
@@RollingwithTheRobsons yeah but when your camping for week you need storage to have enough room for the beers. Lol
Great looking van. Hopefully won’t be too long before you can get out in it. 🤞Happy times ahead

@@RollingwithTheRobsons I don't blame you fella. We don't have the budget for a new van at this time, and anything over £20k is a bit steep
Thanks for the reply. Yes I would love something more expensive however we believe on spending the money on things for the kids in terms of experiences.
You will be out in it soon 👍
Thanks for the comment. Yes we hope we do and hope you are able to pickup the motorhome on time in April.

@@RollingwithTheRobsons the debt bit, yes, one of the smaller reasons we came back to caravanning.
