As mentioned by the other comments already, they shoot with a lot of sets with practical effects mixed with CGI (I would say closer to a hollywood style form of shooting rather than a traditional music video shoot.) They have an overarching alien concept as of now, so most of their concept revolves around alien imagery/ outerspace imagery. They are young, 18-21 y/o. In the MVs there is sometime more or less CGI but they also do many many live perfomances so they can actually perform really good. A good Video without many Effects is the X-Gene Performance Video
Actually i think you mean to say XG uses a lot of practical effects and sets. Which is actually amazing and cuts back on the CGI. If you watch the BTS for SS and GRL GVNG the sets and most effects are actually real. But yeah XG's MVs are top tier in the industry

The oldest member is Xhosa she sings during the pre chorus first she’s 22 probably 23 now the youngest meme we is Cocona she raps in the first and second verse 2nd she’s 18 now
Most of K-pop is like black pink and btw their budgets are so high that every thing is physically created like there’s a part in this video where one singer, Juria, is on a pink cloud sighting down and she’s a thought bubble for chisa that wasn’t cgi but the editing made it look like it was a though bubble from chisas mind but the cloud itself was an actual set piece.
