Kadavu Choir at the 1995 Annual Methodist Church Choir Competition at Furnival Park - 2nd Place in the Divison(Wasewase) Category...I think 1st place was awarded to the Lau choir, of whom, majority of the members were former singers of the Kadavu choir - Prominent families shown here are the Waqavakatogas, Vatanitawakes and Raiones of Namara, Masis and Yabakis of Tiliva, Cokanakadavus of Galoa, Tabus of Ono, the Baleisuvas of Dravuwalu, Tuicakaus of Nasegai, Davetas of Namalata, Rayawas of Nakaugasele, Kurusigas and Vusoniwailalas of Wailevu, Nacagilevus and Nawalowalos of Tavuki, Tuisues of Lomanikoro, Wavus of Levuka(Nabukelevu), Qimaqimas of Rewa, Namuas and Toras of Viseisei: to the many other families i havnt mentioned, my apologies...Rest in peace Dad - Lt.Col. Sam Waqavakatoga, former choir directors Dr. & Mrs. Manoa Masi and Mr. Apakuki Cokanakadavu, Ratu Ilaitia Yabaki, Lice and Ana Tai: you are all in a better place...
