@@aleynanoel5959 Yep and it's actually waaaaay overpriced. Michael's puts a crazy high price tag on their items so they can turn around and put it on sale every week. It's a gimmick.
No kidding. Some of it I could take apart or give away (I would love those bells) but a lot is totally useless to me. Granted if you can find even one item you like it’s probably worth it. Who couldn’t use that bin from the first box?
I like how the first comment is "these are pretty nice boxes!" referring to the quality of the actual unopened cardboard containers. This is such a crafter way to think--"Oh awesome, I can reuse the box!"
In my town you have to be there the moment they hit the floor because they are gone within 60 seconds at the most. And where I am they are placed in large plastic bags, not boxes.
I haven't seen them either! Perhaps it depends where you live. We don't see a lot of leftover Christmas stuff in CA, and if we do it's because it's broken...smh
I'm obsessed with watching these as well as the "shop with me" style videos. I'm in the West of Ireland so it's not like I could run out & pick up any of the items I see, none the less I'm fascinated 🤔
Considering you spent $36 for all of those boxes and the tree skirt you wanted was $50... you basically got a discounted tree skirt and all the other stuff is just a massive bonus from a resale point of view. Very good indeed!
The slowness is what stresses me out. I put it on double-speed right away, but it was still far too slow-moving. I tried moving it up to x4, but x2 is the fastest setting TH-cam has.
I purchased the last 4 boxes from my Michaels. I got 260 dollars worth of pine cones. Just pine cones. I have over thirty pine trees in my yard. I hid them from my husband. Lol. Now I’m making pine cone wreaths and arrangements. God must have known I’d really enjoy making these!
last year at Michaels they gave us gray big Michael bags and we would fill the bags with Christmas items ourselves we stuffed them expensive items it was a new store people didn't visit much so lots of stuff was available
So many great items so thrilled you got the Christmas tree skirt. It is perfect with your tree and ornaments! I am hoping my Michaels brings some out I will call first.
I use those green hooks for twist ties to make bows they bend really easy. Keep them with your craft stuff you will be surprised how many times they come in handy
Those dog ornaments had 4 different designs, adorable dog sippy cup,way to go. Such a variety in each box. Tree skirt made you so happy, hurrah. Year round Buffalo ck treat bags, big red ribbon-Valentines. Pastel ribbons-Easter. Orange- ribbons tie off Halloween. What fun surprises.
I am so Happy for you, I got one box and its was nothing like yours, I got several bags of pinecones, one flower garland, makeup brusher and window clings.
These have to be some of the nicest grab boxes I’ve seen from Michaels. You were very lucky cause I’ve seen some pretty sad ones in the past. I loved that Santa pillow! Has to be my favorite item.
You keep saying the retail price, but none of those items actually sell for that. I was there last year the first day they were putting out Christmas items, and there were 40% off signs all over them already. I have never been there without "sales" happening.
So she’s supposed to try to figure out what it MAY have actually been on sale for?? Seriously? Is that what you would do? It makes more sense to just read what the manufacturer suggests; not try to confuse people with possible sales. And those sales jump around from category to category. Not all Christmas will be 40% off the entire season.
People do pay full retail price. 🤷 Crazy, yes, but there are those impatient ones. I know that Christmas stuff started going out in our store in October, I think, and it went on and off sale for a while, then pretty much stayed 40% or 50% off until after Christmas. (Michaels employee here)
Thanks for sharing.. great deal..lots of great🛍 items..like the little 🌲 tree, pillows, baskets, stamps. Micheals is 40mins from my place..😔 have amazing blessed nite
I’ll take the “cat tshirt”. Auntie, you don’t have a cat! 😂. Congrats on the lovely tree skirt. I like those galvanized pails too. You did pretty well for yourself.
If you need ideas for all that garland.... my family takes an old wire coat hanger, pads it out a bit by scrunching, winding and taping/tying store plastic grocery bags around the wire until it's about half to an inch thick, then winding the garland over top starting on one side of the hook and continuing until you reach the other side of the hook, securing the end, then tying a big bow with wide ribbon to hide the hook. It's generally hung on a nail, piece of twine or wall hook. They make a great gift for exchanges, churches, teachers, and /or last minute gifts that can't be food. They're also something kids can help make that's essentially mess free.
I’m so annoyed, I got three boxes, and I hardly got any cute Christmas stuff, and like 20 packs of tiny gift bags, and the same kids pillows, slime kit and kids stationary. So disappointing 😩
WOW! I wish we had a Michael's close by. You got so many wonderful goodies! I love that garland! would be so much fun for crafting. i have used the gold garland for decorating and crafts for new year's party. the bottle trees a great find as well.
You can make a wreath with all of those cupcake liners just search it on TH-cam. Also all those ornaments are cute to incorporate on presents for wrapping. I think you got a really good deal!!
So exciting! I love the tree skirt, I bought 10 grab bags and actually got 3 tree skirts!!! The burlap ones! Love grab bags, thanks for sharing with us!
What's for dinner? CUPCAKES!!! Wow Christmas at your house again! So nice that you got that tree skirt and retro north pole sign. Lots of goodies. I'd say you scored! 🙂
I just about cried when you pulled out the tree skirt you were wanting. (ok I did a little) I'm soooo happy for you! I'd use all that garland on some outdoor decorations. (like gift boxes) You scored pretty well. tfs
Awe thank you SO MUCH!!!! I am SO THRILLED! I've never found the boxes before and I can't believe I got that skirt! Those Garlands are defiantly going to be outdoor decor for my Gingerbread City but before they will be a Photo Backdrop at my daughters birthday party!
Great stuff! My store is lucky to have anything left over, let alone grab boxes. I have seen them on rare occasions and purchased one which sadly had nothing but junk. TFS💕
Love those black & white treat bags, I got three!! Oh my you got the tree skirt I wanted! Mine had a white one with silver around the edge. I’ll be on the hunt again next year, lol
Every once in awhile I see these mystery boxes on TH-cam. I'm not really ba crafter or anything like thai but I enjoy watching these unboxings. They are definitely worth 4 bucks weather you are a crafty or not , I think. The basket alone is worth it in the first box
Oh my gosh you are the lucky one the minute I saw that red and white tree skirt I thought of your bells on your mantle and your ornaments and I think I got as excited as you did I love when a good deal has a big bonuses so happy for you
So fun! Love those galvanized tins.... they will be great for Christmas trees. I really didn’t see much on clearance at our Michael’s but I didn’t look right after Christmas. Love the red wrought iron mailbox. Well you have enough garland for several trees and enough die cut and foam ornaments to decorate them with! I see a lot of Christmas DIYs in your future!
this is perfect to getting materials for my craft studio. im always creating random things and needing the craziest pieces i somehow have somethign that works that was bought 3 years ago
What a great $4 Grab Bag Michaels haul. My local Michaels store hardly had any items left over for them to make grab bags at all. Love the Christmas tree mold, tree topper and bell. All the goodies in the boxes were great. Idea for that multi garland use for a photo shoot backdrop for a party or event. Or if your kiddo has to help decorate a homecoming float for the homecoming parade. I would use the gold and silver garland in my daughters homecoming mum. A Texas thing.
I love how you just show the item and move on. Some people just go on and on. Thank you for sharing!
Proof that none of these items are actually worth what they're trying to sell them for lol
We actually put things in grab bags because its typically seasonal and need to move the product off the shelfs so we can move with the seasonal change

Lauren Longfellow Boy, you said it!
At the store I work at we just put it in clearance and It sells itself ....

I got 50 hot glue guns in a 4$ box!!!! I took them up to the kids school for teachers!
I agree.
ikr
A lot of these would be great for a elementary school teacher to use for crafts for the kids
Jilly Bean really smart idea! I’m going to donate to the local school next time I get one!
That's what I was thinking, too! Schools and Nursing homes would both be able to use a lot of those items.
Can’t believe how expensive some of that junk was to begin with.
You said it!

LOL I thought the same thing!
Same 🤣🤣
I love me a good cardboard box!
I shop at Michael's all the time and have never once seen these
This was my first time!
They usually have them at the end of every season/holiday, but they go by real quick!

Me 2 😂😂😂😂😂👀👀👀👀i was trynna figure out wat year is this stuff from smh
I haven't seen them either! Perhaps it depends where you live. We don't see a lot of leftover Christmas stuff in CA, and if we do it's because it's broken...smh
Man, they really couldn’t move that rainbow garland.😂
LOL I know !
I think it’s meant to be in place of wrapping paper lol

Im 13 and got these
Why is this stuff so over priced. Like who is paying 35 dollars for a pillow or 10 dollars for a strip of tinsel I'm so baffled 😧
People with more money than sense
most people use the 40% off coupon.
I use all my coupons and stack them 🙈
The prices for this stuff began to sky rocket last summer. I am thinking it has something to do with the tariffs on China.
You should see Anthropologie pillows

So glad that you got the tree skirt you have been wanting🤗
The rainbow garland would be great for a New Years Eve party or a kids birthay party.
or for my online classroom!
The people in your Michael’s have really been thoughtful with their boxes as some I have seen in the past have hundreds of same item. ☺️
Jane I would HATE that!! Is it really that hard to put random items in each box?
It's just what ever they have left and cant sell
Your house is gonna be lit next Christmas 😂
I think the message here is Christmas decore is a rip off

DUDE these are so amazing! I need to go grab one... or more! haha You got some pretty cool things!
They are SO MUCH FUN!!! I've never found the boxes before in my area!
I've watched a few of these unboxing videos and your boxes are by far way better than most!
I must say, you have the best Michael's mystery boxes of any that I've watched so far! What a deal!
I LOVE that garland!! Great boxes you got. Enjoyed watching you open them!! Now I need to go get some!!
Wish our Michael’s had these. They just have clearance racks out still marked down to 80-90% off. And there’s barely any of that even left.
This is my first time finding them, my store usually has one rack of stuff and they tag it all for $4 a piece.
So happy that you were able to get the tree skirt that you wanted! I have never seen "grab bags" at my Michael's store.
One of the placemats was actually a table runner! The one with bells on the ends, love it!
Was wondering that. Super cute!
Noticed that, too. Should have enough placemats, along with the table runner and decorations, to set a nice holiday table.
