Totally agreed. That was only PJ show for me, seeing them in Denver for #10 soon. Been to countless shows in my years….this was just incredible. A religious experience is truly the best way to explain it
That is such a powerful run. Release speaks for its self, Garden is that forgotten sleeper that pounds you in the chest, Comeback another sleeper but is just reflection. Those three songs were a story of tragedy and anger, anger and wanting, and no longer being angry but remembering the love and wanting a do over. Epic.
I dedicate this songs in memory of my father who died in 1982 even though it's unrealistic to ask him to come back but I can relate to the lyrics the Eddie sings I'm 59 years old just like Eddie and I appreciate Pearl jam for helping our youth with their music Pearl jam is a very strong band and they persevere through a lot of stuff keep on keeping on Pearl jam❤❤❤😊
My mom is a massive Pearl Jam fan and I took her to this show for her birthday, I'm a fan too but never considered myself a hardcore fan or anything but after this show I've been fully converted
I’m THAT Mom! What an incredible birthday present! I’ve loved Pearl Jam for YEARS! Their music has helped me (and continues to do so) through so many tough times in my life….this concert was truly a spiritual journey for me!
Anne Gramuglia Thank you for this comment. So glad you got to a show. Their music has pulled me through so many dark times as well and become a part of my heart in a permanent way. The beauty of music.
@@annegramuglia1893same with me, saving my life still to this day. I need to listen to Eddie and Pearl Jam every single day, their music is in my heart and deep in my soul. How can a band do that? Been a huge fan since the beginning in 1991. 😊💓🤘✌️
I was so blessed to at this concert! My son took me for my birthday! What a fabulous gift! The 3 opening songs though, truly touched my heart, mind and soul…this past August I lost my nephew to a drug overdose….my thoughts were with him and how much I truly miss him 💔💔💔💔
There's something fascinating about bands like Pearl Jam who are now in their late fifties with a huge catalogue of songs and musical experience, yet they still choose to perform songs they wrote when they were just kids.
I was at this show, 2 people from the rail. Just got back from the tour finale in Denver. This setlist was way better, best show I have ever been to. However, the crowd energy in Denver was a different level. Bottom line is these guys are just incredible, especially live. There are few fan/concert communities that even compare. The experience, no matter how you navigate it, is like no other. Hands down….they are the best doing it live for the past ten years easily
3 most beautiful songs, Release, Garden and Come Back Oohh my goodness had me in tears!! I absolutely love Eddie's sense of humor what a beautiful man!! You fans are so freakin lucky got to see this live in Madison Square Gardens what a incredible special night!! My favorite band on this planet. Fantastic job filming this!! Thank you so very much for sharing this awesome video 😊💓🤘✌️ Wonderful audience!!
Wish you could have recorded the whole show. I have so many videos from that night, but not the beginning; so thanks for this! Absolutely incredible night❤️
I was texting my comment through a microphone 🎤 and it didn't pick up my words properly but I think you will get the message anyway I thank God for Pearl jam's music❤❤❤
Spent way too much money to be there, and ended up with a massive migraine for most of the show but at least the flag I was holding in the 400s section behind the stage was put up on the screens on stage when Mike played the star spangled banner
The audience singing along with “Release” never gets old. Amazing.
I had the closest thing to a religious experience I will ever know last night. My soul cleansed and knew pure joy. 🙏
Word! I'm getting goosebumps just watching this again. Thanks for sharing

Absolutely! Perfect way to describe the night!
Every PJ is a religious experience!!! No concert like a PJ show
very easily amused,i could barely stay awake.

Flew in from the UK for the show. A very magical night, there's something very special about this band in that arena.

I will see my first Pearl Jam show live in a month. If they play Release, I just might collapse in a puddle of tears.
❤😢
How can anything be more beautiful than Eddie singing these three great songs. I loved it so very much.
I was here too. One of the best PJ shows I've seen in nearly 30 yrs. MSG was off the charts!
Greatest three opening songs ever

Ed, you are amazing and your voice is everything.❤🇧🇷
Wow😳 Eddies pipes are in topform on these 3 classic PJ anthems. Bravo👏🏻

Incredible directing honestly lol.

Release could be my fave mellow song of theirs. As usual good capture Burnsy!
Great camera work 🙏
Stone Gossard in the muzzle of sanitarism. Distance is not enough for him.
we had a time
💃❤🕺

They should’ve played deep at the end my favorite band of all time after them and Dave Matthews band
😀
Name of second song, please
Garden
Who did he say the "oh dear...." to at 2:38 in Release??
Church
Seems awesome but why is he sitting during release? And why does this bother me?
The whole tour started with 4-5 seated slower songs. Probably to pace themselves. Theyre not exactly young anymore.
That didn't bother me, the fact they're down to just one encore set is what disappointed me
